SCP-SOL1 is to be contained at all times in Site-114 in a 3x3x3 metre cube, inside a secure steel locker. It is not to be withdrawn from the steel locker at all times, unless it is being tested upon. All testing requires O5 preclearance to prevent unauthorised use of SCP-SOL1.
Description
SCP-SOL1 is a Sony OLED TV with a remote control paired to it. SCP-SOL1 at first glance appears to be a normal TV, but has been discovered to exhibit several anomalous behaviours, including the manifestation of fictional characters. Although SCP-SOL1 can manifest dangerous creatures (which are to be terminated immediately), it can also manifest people who can be helpful to the Foundation. However, this comes with several effects on the [DATA REDACTED], including [DATA EXPUNGED].
Initial Discovery/Incident Log SOL1-#1E1
In December of 2019, Mobile Task Force Alpha-4 has tracked down a Sony OLED TV with several 'problems' reported during the past. Alpha-4 tracked down the package until it arrived at [DATA REDACTED]. Alpha-4 and a research team were immediately dispatched to deal with this, posing as a simple package delivery team. However, during its initial discovery, several [DATA REDACTED] (see Incident Log SCP-SOL1-1E1) were discovered, leading to the death of [DATA EXPUNGED] personnel in Mobile Task Force Alpha-4, along with a research team dispatched along with the task force. Eventually, Mobile Task Force Beta-7 was dispatched to deal with the anomalies, and found that the personnel were [DATA EXPUNGED] with [DATA REDACTED]. (See SCP-SOL1-E1)
