special containment procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a locked soundproof box and not to be interacted with unless authorized by level 4 or above personnel as to protect classified Foundation information from being discovered. 2 guards of clearance level 3 or above are to be monitoring SCP-XXXX at all times and are informed not to interact with the object.

During testing, all cameras should have their microphones removed to reduce spending on amnestics and one guard should monitor the subject to ensure their compliance and to transcribe. A trained psychiatrist should be outside the testing chambers at all times and amnestics should be administered if the situation requires.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a world war 2 SCR-300 radio set acquired from the US military in 1944 due to operators committing suicide after its use. the radio suffers no signs of degradation and the battery has been removed by the previous operator, most likely in an attempt to terminate the object.

SCP-XXXX will remain inactive until told what it deems to be a 'secret' and after a brief period of time, approx. 3 seconds, will respond with its own 'secret', these ranging from the location of a person to why 2 is equal to 1, however, upon repeated interactions with the same subject SCP-XXXX will begin to adapt, and its 'secrets' will become more personalized with the subjects knowledge and personality, often showing signs of sadism by revealing information that it seems to know will harm them mentally.

After 10 uses, SCP-XXXX will become inactive and begin to emit a faint radio signal from its antenna this is presumed to be how it receives information. It is unknown what or where it is broadcasting to and all attempts at decrypting the signal have been unsuccessful.

Following Incident XXXX-A, SCP-XXXX was revealed to show signs of intelligence in what it responded with indicating signs of the object being sentient and having a sense of self-preservation. Attempts to utilize this for foundation benefit have generated mixed results.
