Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX Is to be contained within a 0.3m x 0.5m standard object cell, kept at 15° C at all times. If the chamber is to be observed with temperatures under 5° C, backup heaters are to be dispersed into its chamber immediately. In the case of a total power failure, SCP-XXXX is to be transported to a temporary heated chamber nearby. No personnel under Level-2 Access are permitted near SCP-XXXX's chamber at any time. Further testing of SCP-XXXX is to be done so only under Level-4 approval.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard steel carving knife with a blade length of 25cm (10in), and a titanium alloy grip. When the blade is under room temperatures, and held by a human subject, no attempts to damage the blade have been successful. When not being held by a human subject, the blade of SCP-XXXX can reach temperatures of 0° C, and has been observed to be susceptible to damage under this state.

The anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX manifest when a living subject picks up SCP-XXXX with the intent to cut or slice something. Any attempt to pick up and use SCP-XXXX without the intent to cut an object, will result in it functioning similar to a standard knife of its making. When used in the intent to cut, any item cut by SCP-XXXX will, in all manners, turn into a form of cake. The cake produced by SCP-XXXX will often change flavor depending on what object is cut. The sole exception to this property is other cake like substances. When SCP-XXXX is used to cut another cake like substance, it will instead turn the substance, into whatever it last cut (See Testing Logs XXXX-1A).

SCP-XXXX was first discovered in ████, Texas, after many reports of hyper-realistic cakes being sold at ███ Bakery. MTF Unit E-11 ('Village Idiots') were sent to recover the object after reports of [REDACTED] like cakes, and the death of three (3) civilians near the bakery.

Addendum XXXX-A: The following is a list of all items recovered along side the original discovery of
SCP-XXXX.
