Her - She is one of the Five Terrors, a group of five cosmic deities that are regarded as fully capable of bringing an end to a given civilization individually, and hypothesized to bring an end to the universe if they were forced to work together. They are regarded as gods by the Hermetic Order of the Black Tree.

The Hermetic Order of the Black Tree - A civilization (or just a very large group) of wizards and witches proficient in transportation magic. The Order as a whole is not nearly as large as it once was, and people who aren't a part of the Order but know their spells are often confused for legitimate members. It is believed that some of the old leaders of the Order were responsible for establishing Tranquility on the moon during the Plague.
