Containment Procedure: SCP - XXXX is to be contained in a remote off land containment area in the far reaches from any shore. “It’s” cell should be only monitored by motion sensors, with no cameras within a 15 meter area of its cell. There are to be 3 doors trapping it from escaping, each doing demonstrating a different property, but all with a 400 digit long passcode randomly generated each time the old code is input or the keycard is used and uploaded to an offshore terminal which no personal lower than REDACTED can see it’s contents.
The first door is set with 5 deadlocks on each side of the door, each penetrating the wall 5 feet deep.
The second door, is highly conductive, sending a deadly volt to those that input the wrong code to the keypad.
The third and closest door to SCP - XXXX is REDACTED.
Any personal that is to interact or be in the vicinity of this entity shall be closely monitored by a regularly rotating and selective security force, and made aware of what we have given the name of a “Hijack”.
Only those with increased mental abilities have a chance of surviving what we have called a mental highjack. Even then, the strain it puts on the physical body leaves it rendered unusable, and irreparable. In order to secure SCP - XXXX in the event of a containment breach, a M.T.U operative with higher than normal mental abilities will have to be hijacked, which in most cases, the securement team has 2 minutes until the M.T.U operative is left broken and either dead or in a critical state and the SCP - XXXX will begin the next hijacking. Our research team has been unable to determine a standard scope of how mentally strong a person is versus how long they take to be hijacked.An ample supply of M.T.U operatives will be needed on hand and rotating into the scene, while commands are given via radio on the next move by M.D. REDACTED. No information on the plan or any previous details concerning prior actions shall be communicated between squads, and the result of doing so will be the administration of the REDACTED REDACTED REDACTED gas and REDACTED inside that units helmet. Many will be damaged and possibly killed, all for the greater good of course.
Description: SCP - XXXX is a sub humanoid entity, one that we have not been able to discern if it is alive or dead, as it has not been damaged in any of its interactions with the world before being found by the SCP Organization. It’s figure is the embodiment of average, lacking and discernible features, with nothing out of place. It is still an object of debate over the physical characteristics of SCP - XXXX. In our course of research, we have found that each person, and other SCP that views this entity, whether in person or in a picture. We have only been able to confirm and verify that the entity appears to be male, has 2 eyes sunken back and dim in color, and with a height ranging 150cm to 180cm.
SCP - XXXX has a few quirks that we have been able to find and use to further safe and effective research into it and its goals. The first and most important is the inability to lie. If it does not want to give an answer it will instead aim to avoid or redirect the question. Do not press the matter further as the SCP - XXXX will grow hostile.
The second quirk, is the rotation of habits and personalities. There is no discernible pattern to this change or how fast it goes back to normal. Further testing will have to be carried out to understand this matter more intimately.

The final quirk is its ability to hijack a victim, and destroy the victims body and mind in a matter of seconds to minutes. The higher the mental strength an individual has determines how long they can survive and how badly they will come out of the snare of SCP - XXXX. Further detail into the hijacking is to be taught to those getting prepared to be given to SCP - XXXX.
Once SCP - XXXX mentally ensnares the target, they are subjected to a series of repetitive tasks, lulling the target into a sense of security, where it then slowly makes the target commit more and more abnormal and vile acts till the point the physical body is beyond repair, and the mental state is fractured and questionably intact. Once SCP - XXXX is done with its target, “It’s” head tilts back up and opens its eyelids, going after the next target it chooses randomly, or atleast, to no pattern that we have been able to discern. Once a victim of SCP - XXXX wakes up, they all have common symptoms including but not limited to:
Bleeding nose
Loss of eyesight
Ruptured organs, primarily in the right side of the abdomen
Bruising and swelling on the head, arms, legs, and groin
Burn marks closely resembling cigarette burns
Extreme Dementia
Trouble forming coherent sentences
Extreme paranoia, to the extent of causing physical stress to a level of harming the body
Vivid hallucinations. Upon further analysis on these hallucinations, we have found that these are to a degree real only for the one perceiving these, but can not interact with beings outside of the hallucination. There have been cases where hallucinations have formed outside REDACTED.
Lack of ability to distinguish what is there reality
All victims typically do not live for more than 24 hours after a hijack. Most attempts at interrogating victims are unsuccessful, as they are either in a rambling mess, a vegetative, unresponsive, deluded, self aggressive, or hostile state. Only those of the utmost strength and mental acuity have been able to give us any information, even if what information we yield is formed in blood gurgling crying.
No hijacking victim is left to suffer, as if upon awakening they have no information to hand over after 4 hours, and are still alive / responsive, we administer a quick chemical injection to cut off any electrodes ability to fire.

SCP - XXXX will be referred to as John from this point forward, as that is what they wish to be called. SCP John is not one single entity, but is a spider like web of consciousness with what we know as SCP - John being the one at the top and in control. Any victim that SCP - John hijacks becomes part of this muddled consciousness. The reason for redacted content will be explained further and justify why two chunks of information is missing from the containment procedure.
With further reading of this information, you hold the entire operation on your mind. Not just the research on SCP - John, but on the entirety of the SCP foundation. I do my best to keep my emotions out of my reportings, so I stress in this failure to so this one time, I fear that if the containment of SCP - John should fail and he were to breach containment, it would signal the end of our free will, of the foundation, of our existence as individuals, and of every single nation. In saying that, I also take a bitter solace in not knowing exactly what his objective is.
The reason for the expressed caution is simple, when SCP - John hijacks a victim, he not only takes in the consciousness, he takes in the memory and knowledge of the victim through means of psychological tourture on a level which our cognitive can’t handle, and ramps up the severity to a point which our minds can not comprehend leading to the break down of the victim's mind and body. Details of different tortured victims have been included in the additional pages packet added to this folder. If one of our staff members where to have any knowledge of SCP - John’s cell or passcodes or any way to escape, it would lead to the eventual breach of any knowledge known in the mind, with facilities of the staff knowing being the first of many targets. If, or when, SCP - John begins this attack on our facilities, it will only be a matter of time before he has gathered all knowledge we have on all other SCP’s, less we expunge all knowledge we have, and start a new.
