Special Containment Procedures: Any instances of SCP-XXXX-A must be captured and contained in separate standard humanoid cells on Site T-1Z. Mobile task-force XXXX, code name “Crowd Surf” is responsible for the capturing of SCP-XXXX-A instances in reported areas. Civilians who have had friends or family infected by SCP-XXXX-A are to be detained and given Class B amnestics. Prior to containment, captured SCP-XXXX-A instances are to be outfitted with plastic mouth guards, which have a embedded wireless locking mechanism. All personnel must cover skin with apparrel made of leather or more durable material when near SCP-XXXX-A instances. SCP-XXXX-A instances who identify with the organization “Sampires” are to be questioned and given Class B amnestics afterwards. Unless given permission by level 4 or higher personnel, SCP-XXXX-A are not allowed to actively converse with other instances. If instances are to interact, it must be monitored by at least two C-class or higher personnel.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an anomalous occurrence as a result of an instance of SCP-XXXX-A, biting an organism of the Animal Kingdom. Once the subject is bitten they will begin to transform into an instance of the specific SCP-XXXX-A which has bitten the subject. This process takes approximately 35 minutes to complete, though this is much quicker for homo sapiens, taking only several minutes. Along with sharing identical physical appearance and properties, subjects also possess the same chemical composition, mental and physical state, memories, and even attire.
SCP-XXXX-A instances most commonly appear as a caucasian male within the age of 20 to 33, measuring 1.76 meters, and weighing 70 kilograms. Notable features may include light brown facial hair, a 3x4 cm birthmark located on the left thigh, and a 2 cm scar across the left eye. As of April 2, 20██, there are 12 instances of SCP-XXXX-A under Foundation containment, however it is unknown how many instances there are outside of containment. 10 of the 12 instances in containment claim to be part of an organization called the “Sampires,” and share the goal of creating as much instances of SCP-XXXX-A as possible. Instances affiliated with the Sampires commonly wear purple leather robes and tend to conceal their face.
SCP-XXXX first came into the Foundation's notice on November 3, 20██ after a disturbance which has been reported numerous times to authorities took place in ████████, Wisconsin, involving what has now been identified as 4 SCP-XXXX-A instances, periodically yelling "Join us now, or join later. There is no choice." When a civilian attempted to interfere, an instance of SCP-XXXX-A attacked and bit the subject, causing panic among bystanders. The group of SCP-XXXX-A instances were able to successfully transform 6 more subjects, before a Mobile Task Force subdued and captured all instances.
Addendum-XXXX: On April 3, 20██, SCP-XXXX-A-1 requested to speak with Dr. Harris during weekly checkup. SCP-XXXX-A-1's given reason was "I remembered where I last was."
