Dr. █████████: SCP-5589-

SCP-5589: Listen, I do what ya tell me, please call me Soraya. It’s all I ask.

Dr. █████████: Okay… Soraya, when did you gain your anomalous properties?
SCP-5589: I don’t know, really. I just kinda was born with them.
Dr. █████████: Right. And you never remember not having them?
SCP-5589: No, No I do not.

Dr. █████████: The next question, do you at all remember your birth family?
SCP-5589: No, not really. First thing I remember is playing with some of the other children in the orphanage.
Dr. █████████: Okay. SCP-5589-
SCP-5589: If you can’t get my name right will you please let me go back home?

Dr. █████████: If you’re saying you want to leave foundation custody, that’s not possible. Now-
SCP-5589: Doc. If I wanted to escape I would’ve attempted so already. I’m talking about my cell. I would rather stay here instead of some other organization's electric chair.

Dr. █████████: What makes you assume there are other organizations?
SCP-5589: It doesn’t take another Einstein to figure out people have more than one opinion about people like me.

Dr. █████████: Right, fine. Soraya you may leave.
SCP-5589: Thank you.

Closing Statement: SCP-5589 Seems to know more, or has figured out more, than we think it does. The foundation is going to need to be more careful of what is said around SCP-5589

Addendum SCP-5589-a: SCP-5589 breached containment on ██-██-████ while being escorted to the site gym. After a few minutes SCP-5589 was found via security cameras back at it’s cell door. Later on many staff at the site reported practical jokes and pranks put in their offices.

SCP-5589 was asked in a later interview why it didn't attempt to leave the site.

“I don't have a problem with the foundation. Nothing could be better in my mind. You don't kill us off, don't try to use and abuse us for your own personal gain. All you do is study us, keep us contained. I think it's the most humane thing this world has at this point.

I'm just glad I don't have to hide here. It's a good price to pay for never seeing the sky again. I've already accepted that there's no way for me to leave anyways. Even if I escape from this building they will find me. An organization as big as this seems would have a military might backing it. This is my home now, it's the best outcome.

I'm finally free.”

SCP-5589 is banned from being able to leave it’s cell besides for testing purposes until further notice.

Addendum SCP-5589-b: on ██-██-████ SCP-5589 was seen chuckling to itself through a security camera in its cell. When questioned about what it was laughing about by surveillance staff it responded with “I just thought of a funny joke, wanna hear it?” to which the personnel said no. SCP-5589 told its joke anyways. The personnel burst out laughing for a few minutes before asking SCP-5889 for another joke. This went on for a few hours.

It's confirmed that SCP-5889 can't force laughter onto another individual, it's jokes are just really damn funny.

Addendum SCP-5589-c: SCP-5589 has been noted to be a potential asset to the Foundation. It shows to have a full understanding of our purpose and its anomaly could help with problem solving and calculations.

Currently the only downside to allowing her to be a scientist in the Foundation is having another Dr. Bright around. SCP-5589 seems to have a mischievous side, breaking containment only to pull pranks or practical jokes on the staff.

Overall, I do believe that SCP-5589 could be a valuable asset to the Foundation as long as rules are set in place for it.
