Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6214 is to be contained in a 20x 20x 15m containment. The walls are made of 60cm thick reinforced concrete, in 30 cm slabs. In Between the slabs is meant to be 30cm of noise capturing foam.,This containment box is to be enclosed in a large 23mx23mx18m Faraday Cage to prevent any radio signals entering the containment. This Faraday Cage is only to be turned off when personnel and other subjects are entering or leaving the containment cell. lSCP-6214 must be constantly watched via foundation through a control box. In the event of SCP-6214 is to breach containment, it is to be re-contained using tranquilizers and gas, as most firearms do not damage the entity effectively.
Description: SCP-6214 is a very large feline-like entity, closely resembling a Panthera Leo, with several differences. SCP-6214 stands at 3.64 m tall at the shoulder, and weighs approximately 14,570 Kilograms, in place of it's regular upper canines SCP-6214 has large saber-teeth measuring over 2.2 feet long. The hide of SCP-614 is very durable, and firearms with less penetrating power than firearms chambered with 7.62x39mm rounds have little to no effect.
SCP-6214 is a sentient being, able to communicate with Foundation staff in their language fluently, provided it uses a latin alphabet, SCP-6214 has problems communicating speaking with those who do not use latin-based languages. However it communicates in a telepathic manner, subjects who have interacted with him claim that they are hearing this voice as if it was spoken vocally, but no one else can hear it. SCP-6214 has shown no other ways of communicating as a sentient being, any other signs of communication are done as a Panthera Leo, in a mix of growls, roars, grunts and other noises. SCP-6214 has only done this when encountered with wild animals, or when showing hostility towards staff. SCP-621’S telepathy has shown no other use or abilities other than communication.
SCP-6214 also shows very solitary behaviour to other big cats similar in physical form to itself,. When presented with one, depending on the length of exposure, it will either ignore, show hostility, or eliminate the other cat. This has only been shown when presented with members that are a part of the Panthera family.
SCP-6214 also does not require the need to eat, or drink, despite its large mass. SCP-6214 has been recorded for going months without food or drink, with no changes to it’s physical or mental state. However SCP-6214 will feed if it is given the opportunity, feeding has shown that it will increase its size and weight. Depending on the size of the meal, SCP-6214 has seen increases of 10-400 Kg, the speed of the weight increase varies on how much, longer portions will increase the weight quicker, while smaller portions take more time. It also gives SCP-6214 a boost in energy, and will show more activity, such as movement, communication and alertness .Feeding SCP-6214 is prohibited unless done for testing, How it manages its hunger and thirst is unknown.
SCP-6214 in itself is not a very aggressive entity, nor does SCP-6214 purposefully attempt to breach containment without provocation, all instances of SCP-6214 breaching containment have been caused by severe provocation, or by the fault of another SCP. SCP-6214 has expressed a disliking towards the Foundation, however SCP-6214 is willing to comply with Foundation tests and experiments on occasion, the time gaps vary greatly. SCP-6214’s strength, speed and durability is beyond any non-anomalous entity, as mentioned, rounds with a stopping power below 7.62x39mm have very low efficiency of damaging or slowing down SCP-6214, and being able to charge straight through armored vehicles, such as light APCs, with no issue. SCP-6214 during containment breaches has been observed breaking through armored doors vehicles with relative ease.
SCP-6214 is not to be interacted with by staff unless for testing or with approval from a Level 3+ Foundation Member, however Level 2 staff can conduct testing, with the right permissions. Level 2+ can also respond and communicate to with SCP-6214 provided their interest is in gaining information of the entity.
SCP-6214 has one other known anomalous ability, the ability to pick up, communicate into, and jam radio frequencies willfully. During all 4 of its previous containment breaches, SCP-6124 has been able to dodge Security and re-containment teams during breaches by jamming signals, or tuning into their frequencies to listen to their plan. Although the limits of this ability are unknown, the maximum recorded range is estimated to be up to 5 kilometres, and is able to pick up signals that are partially defended.
Addendum -1: SCP-6214 was found and located in Zambia, where locals had reported that a nearby village had all the villagers killed by a large cat. Originally the foundation believed it to be nothing more than tribal beliefs, until local authorities who had been called to investigate had been found dead with attack marks that no natural animal could replicate. After this event, the Foundation sent 2 re-containment squads. SCP-6214 was contained, and sent to Site-19. All non-foundation personnel who came into contact with SCP-6214 were detained and given amnestic treatment.
