Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid/Keter
Special Containment Procedures: [All instances of SCP XXXX-A and SCP XXXX-B are to be kept in a 30 meter by 10 meter by 3 meter double reinforced steel and concrete cell located █████████████████ at site █████ The cell requires a new bundle of standard dried Salvia officinalis otherwise known by its common name of sage every morning. Sage is to be burned in the cell at all times as an incense to ensure SCP XXXX-A does not materialize. Each cell must have 1 meter of running water between the walls of the cell and 1 meter wide by 2 meter deep course of water running at all times around the entirety of the cell. 2 pounds or more of dried Sage must be hung and burned at all times directly above the water in front of the cell's entrance and above the water running around and through the cell itself. The sage above running water acts as a ward for instances of SCP XXXX-A and SCP XXXX-B. Should either of these components be missing, SCP XXXX-B will break through the obstacles currently set forth. SCP XXXX-B currently can not be contained unless SCP XXXX-A is contained first. Any and all references to natural wards created by sage and running water will be addressed as XXXX-W. instances of SCP XXXX-B are all contained and inanimate unless touched, they are contagious and any D class personnel who go into the chamber for monthly cleanings must be screened after exiting the cell for possible symptoms in a standard air pressure locked cell. All personnel assigned to SCP XXXX-B and SCP XXXX-C must go through extensive psychological and physiological screening bi-weekly for anything that could indicate infection before and after any interaction or experimentation.
A list of possible symptoms for infection can be found in medical form 1 or discussed with any of the Foundation provided psychiatrists and/or physician on site. Any personnel who exhibit symptoms of possible infection will be put into an isolated cell with XXXX-W procedures. Cases of people infected with SCP XXXX are to be transported into XXXX-W class cells and interviewed extensively to find out more about the physical changes they experience within their two week “evolution”. If the entirety of its cell becomes surrounded by █████████████████ all instances of SCP XXXX-A within XXXX-W appear to dissipate causing any instances of SCP XXXX-B to become motionless and completely inert unless disturbed. Although XXXX-B no longer presents a threat unless bothered, they are still contagious and are to be treated as a Eculid level danger.
To date no more instances of SCP XXXX have appeared outside of Federation testing. All experiments are to be approved by 05 personnel.
Requests from staff have been heard and the committee has yet to vote to build a secondary XXXX-W around each cell. Proposal to change the subject class of SCP XXXX to Keter is being reviewed for validation of necessity and will be discussed on ████████.
]
Description: [SCP XXXX is a contact spread pathogen that was discovered 100 meters from the ████████ spreading among a community of ██ known individuals. Foundation Field Agents were dispatched and advised to secure all the individuals within the area of known infection. Class A amnestics were administered to anyone involved and no infected. Class A amnestics affect those who are infected less depending on how far along the two week process of physiological change they are. ██ people were infected by SCP 4852 and all were turned into instances of SCP XXXX-A and SCP XXXX-B.
When a subject is infected by SCP XXXX subjects start to experience several physiological and psychological changes over a two week period. Upon further investigation those infected by SCP XXXX were found to slowly develop intense psychopathic tendencies, extreme cases of narcissism and ultimately become completely void of any level of empathy. Subject SCP XXXX as of this document's last update has no known cure.
Specimen SCP XXXX-A and SCP XXXX-B are the spirit and body of a human split apart and significantly magnified in all aspects by means of rapid “evolution” caused by SCP XXXX. Upon the end of the two week period of rapid change, subjects split into what is known as SCP XXXX-A and SCP XXXX-B.
SCP XXXX-A
SCP XXXX-A is an incorporeal manifestation counterpart of those infected with SCP XXXX. SCP XXXX-A has been described as a usually floating shadowy figure of similar proportions to SCP XXXX-B. SCP XXXX-A is aware of who they used to be and can recall details from their life before being infected. Despite having developed severe mental and psychologically disturbing disorders SCP XXXX-A’s are extremely intelligent. Instances of SCP XXXX-A appear to be capable of communicating telepathically and behave seemingly with a similar goal of mass destruction. SCP XXXX-A uses SCP XXXX-B as a means to interact with the world. As to how SCP XXXX-A actually controls SCP XXXX-B is currently unknown. Cases of SCP XXXX-A hunt and stay together despite not needing to eat. SCP XXXX-A have been noted to hunt humans for sport via SCP XXXX-B (see field log-1) Disorders found to date in cases of SCP XXXX-A have included severe depression, inconsistent active homicidal tendencies, separation anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, neurosis, psychosis and mania. Experiments are still underway and more pending approval.
SCP XXXX-B
SCP XXXX-B is the seemingly lifeless and emotionally empty husk that is left after the two week period of evolution. Instances of SCP XXXX-B have what appear to be backward armadillo feet, a single eye approximately .7 meters in length in the center of its skull, a mouth with 3 rows of teeth in his stomach where the belly button had once been and has a coat of fur that has grown to cover their skin. SCP XXXX-B lacks a nose bridge but has two large nostrils .2 meters in size. SCP XXXX-B hands are disproportionate to the rest of its body and are .4 meters in length. All instances of SCP XXXX-B up to date are indestructible. SCP XXXX-B weighs considerably more than its mass would suggest. Instances of SCP XXXX-B weigh approximately 5,785 kilograms despite being approximately 2 meters tall. SCP XXXX-B during initial capture demonstrated the strength to bend and break steel structures and vehicles under the instruction of their counterpart SCP XXXX-A.
SCP XXXX-C
SCP XXXX-C resides in a seperate 5 meter by 5 meters XXXX-W class cell with biometric locks for Class 4 personnel. A secondary pressure sealed containment cell is built around the cell to prevent possible spread of SCP XXXX. The only time this door will be opened will be to give SCP XXXX-C any food or sources of entertainment. SCP XXXX-C looks the same as SCP XXXX-B except whenever Doctor Sorenson isn't the personality in control of the body. SCP XXXX-C eye in the center of its head will turn into an abyssal black hue covering the entirety of the eye whenever Doctor Sorenson is not in charge of the body at the present moment. SCP XXXX-C will by default be addressed as Dr Sorenson unless otherwise specified or it is discovered that Dr Sorenson is not the present personality. SCP XXXX-C is not to leave its cell under any circumstances and is contagious. SCP XXXX-C (Dr Sorenson) will be provided with whatever lunch item is being served in the Sites Cafeteria. Dr Sorenson will clean his own cell, so D class personnel are not necessary.
Interview log 1
Experiment Log B-1
Addendum: [ In an instance of a containment breach any and all staff present are to immediately flood the lab with █████████████████ ( as seen in XXXX-W ) and activate XXXX-WE emergency procedure. Emergency procedure XXXX-WE will surround the entirety of Site ██████ with the XXXX-W until Foundation Field agents can arrive and secure all instances of SCP XXXX-A, SCP XXXX-B. As of yet we have failed to create a plan that would be able to recover SCP XXXX-C because SCP XXXX-C knows all the current procedures set forth because Dr Sorenson was our leading expert on SCP XXXX.
Addendum 02 We have done as much as we can to make Dr Sorenson feel comfortable within his cell. He has been provided with puzzles and “mind teasers” but despite his requests we can not provide him any form of current news.]
