Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard containment locker at Site-73. The locker is not to ever be opened outside of testing. Testing is to be performed in a soundproofed room, and any video taken is to be without sound, except during interrogations of SCP-XXXX-1. Speech transcription is to be used in normal testing. During testing, SCP-XXXX is not to be used to draw on living entities. After testing concludes, the SCP-XXXX-1 instance is to be terminated by wiping its face off with a sanitary wipe. As of 8/2/2012, the object an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is drawn on is not to be harmed.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a black fine point marker. When used to draw anything not resembling a face, it displays no anomalous properties. When it is used to draw a face on an inanimate object, the object gains sentience. These objects are regarded as SCP-XXXX-1.
The demeanor and IQ of instances of SCP-XXXX-1 vary regarding the quality of the drawn face. SCP-XXXX-1 can vocalize through unknown means. When the object the instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is drawn on is damaged, the instance of SCP-XXXX-1 emits what can be described as human screaming at 200 db. SCP-XXXX was contained in █████, New York on ██/11/2011 after police reports of "ear piercing screaming" by local residents. The SCP was then contained by MTF Pi-1 ("City Slickers"), and amnestics were administered appropriately.
