Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-5083's containment procedures involve placing it in a room made of high melting point material, at least 3 centimeters thick. You must face it towards a wall, as to not cause blindness.
You capture SCP-5083 at nighttime when it is turned off, as to not hurt you.

Description:
SCP-5083 is a standard warehouse flood lamp that will attack when trying to turn off.
SCP-5083 has 12,000LM BR bulb, using 120 watts. SCP-5083 is extremely bright, and is only on during the day. At nighttime, SCP-5083 turns itself off, as to not waste energy. It shines only during the day, due to trying to attract people to turn it off.
When turning off SCP-5083, it will turn back on, and it gives off lava instead of light, killing (or damaging) the person who turned it off, or was in the way.

Foreword: Dr. █████ ██████ interviews Sharla, trying to get what happened at ██████'s warehouse.

Dr. █████ ██████: Would you like to explain what had happened?

Sharla: Yes.

Dr. █████ ██████: Explain please.

Sharla: So I was moving some supply boxes, doing my job like normal.

Sharla: And I notice some flood light. I thought they just got the wrong one, they were planning to get a new light, as it's turning winter, but it was INSANELY bright. I didn't really think much of it.

Dr. █████ ██████: Interesting, please continue.

Sharla: But since I have the afternoon shift, I asked Jared to turn it off. He walked over to turn it off, but then, it didn't turn off.

Dr. █████ ██████: What happened after it didn't turn off?

Sharla: When he flicked the switch on it, it spat out lava- -I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and called 911, I went and pushed it over, it was not connected to anything, besides the power cord. They came and got Jared. I haven't seen him back at work, I assume he is healing.

Dr. █████ ██████: Has there been any other interactions with the floodlight?

Sharla: Not that i know of, no.

Dr. █████ ██████: Thank you for your time. I will end this interview.

Closing Statement: Dr. █████ ██████ removed Sharla's memory of the anomaly, and her life went back to normal at her job. The ██████ warehouse was closed down for a day due to this. The anomaly was named SCP-5083.
