Special Containment Procedures: The star [Kepler 5b] is under constant monitoring for radiation emissions comprising a transmission. Astronomical centers, organizations, and the amateur astronomy community are to be monitored for any discoveries or evidence pertaining to the [—-] star system. In the event that anything pertaining to the star's anomalous capabilities or anomalous activity in its orbit are recorded, records are to be confiscated and expunged, and amnestics are to be administered as required to prevent the nature of the star system and its orbiting bodies from being discovered by the public. A cover story has been distributed that the star produces garbage bursts of radiation that can appear to be messages, but have no coherent meaning or intelligence behind them.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the group designation for a star system located in the [hermeus cluster], [in the Milky Way galaxy], [approximately #ly] away from the Sol system. It has a comparable amount of celestial bodies within it, with a single star which is orbited by a series of planets and moons of various compositions and environments.
The primary anomalous feature of the system is its star, which has been determined to be a Type Black anomalous entity. Its preferred method of communication is via stellar radiation, primarily in the radio wavelength, although it has been known to emit patterned emissions in other wavelengths.
It is not currently known what mechanism makes the star intelligent or able to perform anomalous willful acts, with testing to determine this still ongoing. It has been shown to be able to communicate via stellar emissions and telepathic transmissions to susceptible subjects, perform acts of environmental engineering of nearby celestial bodies, generate localized artificial wormholes to locations within the Milky Way galaxy, and imbue living beings with the potential to become Type Blues.
