Item #: SCP-4936
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4936 must be contained within a chamber measuring 2.5 meters in height and 3 meters in width and length. SCP-4936 is to be provided with basic amenities (food, water, grass). Under no circumstances is SCP-4936 to be within 5 meters of any non-sentient anomalies or consume nepeta cataria, more commonly known as catnip, in any quantity (see test log 4936-A). Any request made by SCP-4936 is to be seen, reviewed, and accepted by a head researcher.
All personnel are allowed and encouraged to engage in play with SCP-4936 at least 3 times per week.
Description: SCP-4936 is a female house cat (Felis catus domesticus) measuring 21.49 centimeters in height and 3 kilograms in weight. SCP-4936 has black-and-white spots on its fur, resembling a cow. The age of SCP-4936 is estimated to be 2 to 3 years.
SCP-4936 is capable of "converting" non-biological objects that it reacts negatively towards into any object it can conceive, with the stipulation that the original object has to be in its line of sight. Any objects that SCP-4936 "converts" is to be designated an instance of SCP-4936-2. SCP-4936 has the intelligence of a 10 year old human being, and can communicate via writing or typing. When SCP-4936 was initially found, it had a collar around its neck. The collar is impossible to remove from SCP-4936 and is very hard to destroy, if not indestructible.
When SCP-4936 initiates the "conversion" process on an object, it undergoes two stages.
Stage 1 "Disintegration": The object disintegrates into a highly flammable and toxic ash. This process takes anywhere from 3 to 10 seconds.
Stage 2 "Formation": The ashes liquefy, creating an extremely sticky liquid.1 The liquid then expands to fill the form that SCP-4936 designates. This process takes anywhere from 10 seconds to 1 hour.
1The color of the liquid varies between red, green, and purple. Unlike the ashes, the liquid is non-toxic, and people who have ingested the liquid report hints of "apple, strawberry, and grape".
