Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Site and Personnel Requirements: The fragile nature of SCP-XXXX requires all personnel assigned to the specimen to take precautions. Personnel are advised against using aerosol products such as deodorants or perfume as the specimen has a heightened sensitivity to strong fragrances. SCP-XXX holds no immediate threat to interactive personnel as the process of [DATA EXPUNGED] requires a significant amount of time, despite this conflict remains ill-advised.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in warm conditions with low humidity as to prevent the fungus beauveria bassiana (an arthropod parasite SCP-XXXX has previously experienced) from infecting the specimen. It is to be kept in an adequately sized holding cell which is to be cleaned out bi-weekly. Personnel are strongly advised to report to a member of higher authority before doing so to prevent disappearances. Previous cases of such vary in time of discovery and thus prevention of asphyxiation is indeterminable.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an anthropomorphic biped of the lepidoptera classification. It's facial features are similar to that of the bombyx mori silkmoth; of which the majority of it's biological composition appears to be based upon. It possesses six appendages located on the sides of the upper body.
SCP-XXXX appears to exhibit reasonable intelligence and often acts independently; displaying a high level of sentience.
Addendum: SCP-XXXX was discovered in the attic of an abandoned building located in ██████, London after detailed reports of a "…sour …sickly smell. Like an infected wound… you know… uhh…pus." from neighbouring tenants. The former owner of the property was found in the attic alongside SCP-XXXX in a pupal casing that was likely to be the cause of the smell complaints. The former owner will now be classified as SCP-XXXX-1.
