Item #: SCP-7054
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
Prior to Incident-7054, SCP-7054 was deemed Safe. It was contained in a 15x15 metal box, which had 50 night-vision cameras the size of ants inserted inside the box. When class D personnel were allowed to touch SCP-7054, its box was moved by class C personnel to a 500x500 room, with a 30x30 metal table at the center. 2 50 watt light bulbs are placed on each side of the room, with a metallic hand attached to the ceiling. The box containing SCP-7054 is placed on the table and opened, and the metallic hand moves SCP-7054 out of the box and onto the table. Class D personnel are then allowed to enter the room and touch SCP-7054. After Incident-7054-1, SCP-7054 was deemed Euclid. It must be placed in an 500x500 room, which is equipped with gravity bending machines acquired from a person from the future out of SCP-052, which bends the property of gravity so SCP-7054 floats midair and doesn’t touch any object or organism. It has 4 cameras, each on one side of the room, and a 100 Watt light bulb illuminating the room. When SCP-7054 is experimented on, it is placed in the 15x15 metal box by class C personnel, which are equipped with hazmat suits, and place SCP-7054 on a 100x100 metal table.
Description:
SCP-7054 (a.k.a The Beachball) is an Euclid class, two-foot-tall beach ball that was discovered in ███████ █████, Florida on October 17, 2020. It is currently contained at Site-81. It has 13 stripes which are the colors of blue, red, yellow, green, and purple. When touched, the cap of SCP-7054 opens, and a species of insect comes out of it depending on the person's mood or what they have done. On October 22, 2020, a class D personnel named D-4294, was allowed to touch SCP-7054. He was hesitant, but at last touched the SCP. D-4294's name is ████ █████, his gender is male and he is 36 years old. D-4294 is mostly depressed, since he set off a grenade while trying to escape SCP-106 when he was a class C personnel, killing most of his friends. When D-4294 touched SCP-5178, the cap opened, and ants came out of it. It was later determined by class A and B personnel that ants appeared since they are one of the insects that are killed the most. The insects that appear were dubbed SCP-7054-2.
On October 17, 2020, SCP-7054 was discovered in ███████ █████, Florida by a class C personnel. When she touched it, the cap opened by itself and cockroaches came out of it. When another class C personnel touched it, the cap opened, and cicadas came out of it. It was brought to Site-81, where it was dubbed SCP-7054. It was also discovered that SCP-7054 releases different bugs depending on the mood or what the organism that touches it has done, but it doesn’t release bugs if touched by a non-living object, instead, each time it is touched by a different non-living object, its cap opens and releases a gust of wind, reaching up to 30 miles per hour. It was then deemed Safe.
On November 28, 2020, an event named Incident-7054-1 changed SCP-7054's containment cell and containment procedure. On that day, a serial killer named D-5624 was allowed to touch SCP-7054. D-5624 name is ███ ███████, his gender is male, and he is 54 years old. When SCP-7054 was touched, a huge swarm of mosquitos flew out of it. The SCP-7054-2s began to swarm around the containment cell and started to merge with SCP-7054 (the transformation later dubbed SCP-7054-PRIME). Once it was done merging, it appeared as a 50 foot tall creature. Its legs were 10 feet long, and its feet resembled a monkey's. Its body was shaped like a 30 foot tall fattened vertical cylinder, and its arms ending with scythes. It had a 5 foot tall neck, and a 5 foot tall head shaped like a 10 foot long horizontal rectangle. Its two wings resembled a mosquitos and were each 15 feet long. When SCP-7054-PRIME's head horizontally split apart, it revealed sharp teeth that were each 3 feet long. It appeared to have no gums. It also had a tongue which had two sharp spikes at the end of it that was estimated to able to stretch up to 70 feet long. SCP-7054 was on the top of SCP-7054-PRIME's head, which resembled an eye when merged with the SCP-7054-2s.
SCP-7054-PRIME easily broke out of its containment cell, killing D-5624 in the process. Its rampage killed dozens of class C personnel, with bullets showing to have no effect. Leaving only a class C personnel named David Cotterell alive. David Cotterell liked examining insects and was know a lot about SCP's, joining the foundation 13 years before Incident-7054-1. His gender is male, and he is 57 years old.
David yelled so SCP-7054-PRIME could hear him. Once it heard him, he ran towards the incinerator room, with SCP-7054-PRIME following him. Once David got into the incinerator room, and SCP-7054-PRIME was on top of the incinerator, he pulled the switch and turned on the incinerator. When fire had burst out of the pipes under SCP-7054-PRIME, several SCP-7054-2s began to swarm around the room, leaving only SCP-7054 behind. About a minute later every SCP-7054-2 disintegrated. Once SCP Foundation Personnel turned off the incinerator, it revealed the ashes of the SCP-7054-2's, but SCP-7054 and David were not disintegrated. David wasn't standing on the pipes, so he wasn't disintegrated, and SCP-7054 formed a ball of air around itself to protect it. David was immediately demoted to a class E personnel, then a class D personnel.
The following day, it was determined that mosquitos appeared out of SCP-7054 because D-5624 was a serial killer, and mosquitos are currently the insects that kill the most people in the world. After Incident-7054-1, SCP-7054's containment cell and containment procedure were changed, and it was now deemed Euclid. SCP-7054 also changed after the incident. Now anything touching it, living or not, makes SCP-7054 release insects. If SCP-7054 is touched a non-living object, it will release only adult orchid mantises. If a living organism touches the scythes of an orchid mantis SCP-7054-2, it will instantly die. When the orchid mantis SCP-7054-2s were studied by Class A and B personnel, it was found out that the scythes of the SCP-7054-2s are laced with an unknown poison, dubbed orchidium. Just a single drop of orchidium will instantly kill any living organism, but won’t have a negative effect on non-living objects.
After Incident-7054-1, SCP-7054 could change the form of any non-living object to its will, which could be used to change an extremely hard object into an extremely soft object, so the SCP-7054-2s can break the object apart with their extremely sharp scythes. This power is not known to affect any living organism.
The origin of SCP-7054 is currently unknown. A week after it was discovered, class C personnel brought a strange-looking kid to Site-81. The kid stated that he played with a beachball that released a Brazilian treehopper when he touched it. The kid looked deformed, and stated that he studied bugs. He also stated that his name was ██████ █████, and that he found the beachball at ███████ █████, Florida. He was asked if he knew where it came from, or if he bought it, but he said no, and that he found it. When he was shown a picture of SCP-7054, he said that it was the beachball he saw. He was later given Class A amnestics and false memories were implanted, and was returned to his family.
