Special Containment Procedures: Site ██ is constructed around SCP-XXXX. No personnel are to make any contact with SCP-XXXX unless via authorization by a level 3 security officer or researcher. Contact with SCP-XXXX is to be used for experimentation only, and any personnel found to be misusing SCP-XXXX are to be terminated when convenient. A single entrance is the only way to access SCP-XXXX, with an airlock separating the rest of the site from SCP-XXXX.
During testing, in most cases a class-D personnel will be used. From this point on, anyone placed inside is to be called SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 is to be equipped with a video camera, then must enter the airlock, then shut the door behind him/her. After performing whatever pre-test is needed, if any, SCP-XXXX-2 is to enter SCP-XXXX, and place the camera somewhere on the floor. Tests have concluded the placement is unimportant. After the test, SCP-XXXX-2 is to be terminated and the camera collected and studied. All films are to be situated [DATA REDACTED], then [DATA REDACTED].
Description: SCP-XXXX is a single room near the outskirts of a small unnamed village. All four walls, including the ceiling and floor, are a dark grey, almost black color. A single brown door leads inside the room, with the a lock on the outside of the door. (The lock was found to be added by the village, to keep people in, or out. After an incident that broke the lock and endangered the staff of Site ██ and SCP-XXXX, the lock was replaced by a high grade airlock and a metal sliding door that prevents the opening of SCP-XXXX. See incident log 4/22/██
The effects of SCP-XXXX seems to have a different effect on different people, but the result is the same. For the first few hours, SCP-XXXX-2 feels mild discomfort. Anything after the times between 2 and 4 hours can be simply described as a decent into insanity. SCP-XXXX-2 will start to hallucinate, talk to themselves and/or scream at nothing, and eventually will run from the entity hereby known as SCP-XXXX-1. Studies show the process has to do partially with SCP-XXXX-1, and partially with SCP-XXXX-2s own sanity.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a creature created by the hallucinations. It's appearance is unknown, and attempts to contact it have proven unsuccessful. So far SCP-XXXX-1 is purely imaginary, and cannot cause physical harm. See incident log 5/18/██
Addendum 1: incident log 4/22/██:
Foreword: The first test of SCP-XXXX goes as follows. D108937 is to enter SCP-XXXX with communication to Dr. ██████ via earpiece. A video camera is also brought in by D108937 to record the following events.
<Begin Log>Dr.██████: Alright subject, are you inside?
SCP-XXXX-2: Uh, yeah. Did you guys lock the door behind me? That doesn't give me good feelings.
Dr.██████: That is none of your concern. Just follow orders.
SCP-XXXX-2: So, I just have to sit here in this room? For how long?
Dr.██████: You will be released when the test is concluded.
SCP-XXXX-2: That doesn't answer my..! Ah, whatever. I'll wait… (sits)
Approximately 30 minutes later:
Dr.██████: Status update?
SCP-XXXX-2: Huh? Oh, uh… I dunno. I feel like I'm being watched though… are you guys watching me?
Dr.██████: Negative. Do you see any cameras?
SCP-XXXX-2: Not besides the one I brought. (sighs) I don't like this feeling….
Approximately 40 minutes later:
SCP-XXXX-2: Oh s███! What the f███?!
Dr.██████: Status update? What's going on?
SCP-XXXX-2: W… Wha? There was a… like a huge dog with red eyes. It's gone now.
Dr.██████: Acknowledged. Stay observant.
SCP-XXXX-2: Wait, you're kidding, right? You're just going to leave me in here?!
Dr.██████: The test has not concluded ye-
SCP-XXXX-2: Screw the test! Get me out of here! I'm going to die, I know it! Let me out of here immediately! Let me out! let me out! let me out!
This continued for several minutes, before eventually dying out, SCP-XXXX-2 falling silent.
Approximately 2 hours of silence later:
SCP-XXXX-2: Oh god no! What the hell is that?!
Dr.██████: What do you see?
SCP-XXXX-2: No! Get it away! It won't take me! Let me out!
Dr.██████: Subject D108937, you need to remain calm and-
SCP-XXXX-2: LET ME OUT LET ME OUT LET ME OUT LET ME OUT LET ME OUT LET ME OUT LET ME OUT LET ME OUT-!
SCP-XXXX-2 started bashing on the door. The door itself remained intact, but the lock broke.
<End Log>Closing Statement: SCP-XXXX-2 ran down the halls of Site ██, minorly injuring 2 researchers via push. SCP-XXXX-2 was eventually shot by an on-site security officer. The tape on the camera showed only SCP-XXXX-2, and none of the mentioned entities were seen.
