Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is to be contained in a 5x5x3 meter locked containment chamber at all times. Interactions with SCP-xxxx should only be made by a D-Class personnel. If a personel enters SCP-xxxx’s containment chamber they are to be monitored by at least three (3) cameras. SCP-xxxx’s containment chamber is to be always monitored by at least three (3) cameras. Interactions with SCP-xxxx is not permitted. If SCP-xxxx makes a visual contact with a human that isn’t already on the list they are to be added to the “Possible shapeshifts” list. In the event of SCP-xxxx shapeshifting to any personnel or civilians the person SCP-xxxx shapeshifted into is to be monitored is to be located and terminated and added to the “Possible shapeshifts” list if not already. Chamber door should never be opened if there are only one (1) person in the containment chamber. If there are more than two (2) people inside the containment chamber researcher of clearance level of 2 should watch the footage recorded from the cameras and determine which one is not SCP-xxxx and let the personnel out.
Note: Making the containment chamber out of telekill alloy might be useful if it actually disables the body swap ability of SCP-xxxx (See Audio Log from Interview xxxx-2)
Description: SCP-xxxx is a humanoid entity with an unknown origin. It’s body is pitch black and constantly changes shape but the form stays humanoid whatever happens. If someone tries to touch SCP-xxxx while in its original state they just phase through it. Even though SCP-xxxx is capable of phasing through objects SCP-xxxx does not go through walls, ceilings, floors etc.. SCP-xxxx is capable of obtaining physical and mental appearance of the people it sees previously (clothing, armor, see-through objects don’t effect the affect) comes in █km proximity of. When SCP-xxxx shapeshifts into someone not only its physical appearances but also memories feelings and mental state change with it too. This makes it so SCP-xxxx can turn into any human it observes like an exact copy. SCP-xxxx cannot decide what it does when it is in shapeshift form. It’s shapeshifted form acts as a separate being not aware that its actually is SCP-xxxx. When SCP-xxxx shapeshifts into someone else it can take over the original person it shapeshifted intos body and leave the original host at SCP-xxxx’s original location. SCP-xxxx seems to take injuries when its in shapeshifted form making it possible to neutralize SCP-xxxx

SCP-xxxx looks at D-87329 for 18 second and the shapeshifts into D-87329
D-87329: Woah! What the fuck, it looks exactly like me.
SCP-xxxx: Wait why is there a clone of me and how did i get warped to this part of the
room from there?D-87329: Hey Dr. S██ is he a clone or is he… me?
D-87329 is again informed to interact with SCP-xxxx.
SCP-xxxx: Wait a minute are we the same guy?
D-87329: I guess we are. When were we born?
SCP-xxxx: █/██/19█. Is it correct?
D-87329: Yeah! This is very freaky.
SCP-xxxx: Now it’s my turn. What was our dogs name?
D-87329: Bucky.
SCP-xxxx: This is very weird.

Closing Statement: SCP-xxxx and D-87329 talked for 32 minutes and 18 seconds about
their past selves and played mind games. At the end of the interview when D-87329 had to
leave SCP-xxxx’s containment chamber SCP-xxxx became a little bit stressed saying that
he should be let out as well, after 195 seconds SCP-xxxx got subdued and D-87329 left
the containment chamber.
Addendum #xxxx-1: Containment Breach
Dr.S██ entered the containment chamber of SCP-xxxx to interview it. Everything went out as it should; SCP-xxxx shapeshifted into Dr.S██ appearance SCP-xxxx got interviewed and the interview got completed and Dr.S██ left the chamber. SCP-xxxx didn’t change back into its normal self but instead stayed in Dr.S██’s form. Meanwhile Dr.S██ went back to his house two (2) hours after the interview. Next day Dr.S██ did not come back to the facility for work and SCP-xxxx did not change into its original appearance for (11) eleven hours. Dr.S██ was knowledged about SCP-xxxx before he entered SCP-xxxx’s containment chamber so even when SCP-xxxx took its form SCP-xxxx’s Dr.S██ form knew that he was a clone so he didn’t panic but this long delay made him worrisome. after four (4) interviews with SCP-xxxx in two (2) weeks it was determined that SCP-xxxx somehow contained breachment by replacing its body with Dr.S██. That was determined by SCP-xxxx’s normal activities (while interacting with a human it usually takes their form) which it doesn’t do anymore, the fact that Dr. S██ went missing and could not be found by MTF Unit [[DO RESEARCH]], Dr.██’s report that he shifted locations in mid interview with SCP-xxxx but didn’t think much of it because of the nature of SCP-xxxx and that civilians in the city Dr. S██ was living in reported seeing a “black figure” which is thought to be SCP-xxxx. Dr. S██ is kept in SCP-xxxx’s containment chamber until an interaction with
SCP-xxxx is made to make sure that Dr. S██ is not actually SCP-xxxx and is trying to deceive SCP personnel.
Addendum #xxxx-2:
Agent ████ reported seeing SCP-xxxx in [DATA EXPUNGED] trying to leave the city. Agent ████ also reported that for SCP-xxxx to leave the city with the direction it’s headed it has to go through the [DATA EXPUNGED] desert. MTF Unit [[DO RESEARCH]] took action to contain SCP-xxxx. [[DO RESEARCH]] waited until SCP-xxxx left the [DATA EXPUNGED] city and entered the [DATA EXPUNGED] desert to make things less complex with civilians. [[DO RESEARCH]] used a CH-47 Chinook helicopter to get close to SCP-xxxx. It was reported that the helicopter suddenly went out of its course and there was a sound of gunfire recorded by the receiver of Capt. ██████ (the only survivor of the incident) after that helicopter apparently crashed.
After interview with Capt. ██████ facility nearby deployed reinforcements to contain SCP-xxxx. Dr. S██ who got released from SCP-xxxx’s containment chamber thanks to the incident did an interview with Capt. ██████ and suggested using telekill alloy to stop SCP-xxxx’s shapeshifting abilities which was not tested.
Second attempt to capture SCP-xxxx was concluded with failure and there were no survivors from the incident. And no further attempts were made trying to contain SCP-xxxx to avoid any more casualties until there is a more reliable way to contain SCP-xxxx.
Audio Log from Interview xxxx-2:
Interviewer: Dr. S██
Interviewed: Capt. ██████<Begin Log>
Dr. S██: Capt. █████ can you explain to us what happened in that helicopter?
Capt. █████: *sigh* We were going to capture SCP-xxxx and while we were going to the
coordinates we received from Agent ████…Dr. S██: Is something wrong?
Capt. █████: No, No. It was just kinda stressful thinking about it again. I was really
scared and had to think fast.Dr. S██: Do you think you will be able to continue the interview.
Capt. █████: Yeah, absolutely. So we were going to the coordinates and while were
were about █kms away from the target i saw our pilot suddenly steer the control stick to
the left all the way which made the helicopter go out of balance. And then suddenly our
pilot came back to his senses and tried to maneuver the helicopter back into its original
state.Dr. S██: So… Did he fail and is that why the helicopter crashed?
Capt. █████: No. One of my teammates suddenly went blank with this dead look in his
eyes. He looked the way he was supposed to but very… well blank, no emotion at all. And
then he went for his pistol and shot our pilot who was trying to save us and went back to
normal.Dr. S██: Wait! Did you ever have a direct line of sight with SCP-xxxx?
Capt. █████: No we didn’t. The report said some things about it shapeshifting to your
appearance if you are in its direct line of sight but nothing like that happend to us. Do you
want me to continue or is this enough?Dr. S██: No, no. Please continue.
Capt. █████: When my teammate went back to its original state I knew what we were
dealing with a mind affecting SCP. So I just threw myself out of the helicopter to avoid
hurting others or others hurting me. I waited until i was far away from blades and opened
my parachute. Just incase SCP-xxxx took over my body I cut one of the ropes in the
parachute that i hoped was for nothing, threw away my knife and my guns and tied my
hands with the rope.Dr. S██: Um… Why?
Capt. █████: If SCP-xxxx takes over my body I don’t want my parachute to be cut off just
because i was carrying a knife with me. And I don’t want to kill myself in midair.Dr. S██: That is actually very clever.
Capt. █████: Dr. S██ I don’t really care about this but maybe you do so i'm going to tell
it to you. While I was in midair i think SCP-xxxx took over my body for a while and while
that was happening i think i was conscious at the original location of SCP-xxxx. I could
hear the helicopters blades but i was not near it at all then i got warped back into my own
body.Dr. S██: Thank you Capt. █████ for the information you gave us. Do you have anything
to add?Capt. █████: No i don’t. Actually, can i get a day off?
Dr. S██: I’m only a level 2 researcher. I don’t think i have a high enough clearance for
that.Capt. █████: Then i’ll ask someone else.
