SCP #: XXXX
Object class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be monitored for anomalous activity by at least 5 personnel. Pedestrians heading across the ██████-Way 101 are to be detained and observed, due to incident XXXX-B, and all entities heading the opposite way are to be detained and scanned for SCP-XXXX-2 instances. New anomalous entities and objects are to be transported to sites immediately. Upon the occurrence of SCP-XXXX-3, XXXX-ALPHA-3 is to be put into action, and nothing is allowed to enter - or leave - SCP-XXXX. Supplemental destruction of at least half of the SCP-XXXX-2/SCP-XXXX-2-A population MUST occur to end XXXX-ALPHA-3.
New expansions of SCP-XXXX are to be demolished immediately. Following incident XXXX-A, all new expansions of SCP-XXXX are to be explored and initially cleared of SCP-XXXX-2. Instances of SCP-XXXX-2-A initially found during expansion/exploration are to be contained and not neutralized unless absolutely necessary.
Level 4 access is required to test SCP-XXXX. Personnel, other than Class-D, should not enter unless there is a new expansion or XXXX-ALPHA-3 has been activated.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a collection of hostile entities found inside of an unidentified building made of [DATA EXPUNGED], named with a sign at the front, "LIA ████ inc," located in ███████, Ukraine. The company is not registered on any known databases. Beneath the sign at the front of the building is a motto, which reads, "We are always necessary."
SCP-XXXX was discovered when reports of a little boy heading towards the, "spooky old factory along the road," were given at a nearby village named, as MTF teams were dealing with the newly-discovered SCP-048. MTF teams didn't respond to this tale, but when the boy came back, villagers said that the boy was, "NoT qUiTe rIgHt." MTF teams began to investigate this possible anomaly and as a result discovered SCP-XXXX. SCP-048 was affected by the radiation and was notably instantly hostile, resulting in termination of yet another SCP-048.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous abilities grant it constant ability to expand. The building is noted to expand almost at the same average as a human going through puberty, if able to compare to a building. The building has been explored thoroughly, and has been found to contain multiple research papers with slightly illegible writing (see below), and signs of massive internal organs pumping [REDACTED] around the building, powering it's other anomalous ability to mash together SCP-XXXX-2s.
SCP-XXXX also gives off high radiation, along with a compound of chemicals designated SCP-XXXX-B14. This chemical, along with radiation, has notable effects on objects and other creatures, but the most notable effects have been observed on humans tutuahas. Humans and other entities should be properly wearing an H-7 "OVERGONG," hazmat suit before entering the perimeter.
SCP-XXXX-2s are large insect-looking cold-blooded reptiles, although dissections have proven that they are not related to insects, being composed of paint, bear blood, [DATA REDACTED], and multiple different metals that are created at around -500 degrees Celsius in [DATA EXPUNGED]. They are extremely hostile to warm-blooded creatures, and will attack viciously. SCP-XXXX-2s will then implant themselves inside their victims by any means necessary. They will then reanimate their hosts, designated SCP-XXXX-2-A, and either continue to lie dormant within the host, or depart and look for other victims.
Recent explorations of SCP-XXXX expansions have found humans, bears, tutuahas, and unidentified reptiles infested with SCP-4973-2. How the entities get access to the new areas of SCP-4973 is unknown, since there is no entrance to new areas until an artificial hole is made by foundation personnel. X-rays of these entities have shown them to not be composed of regular matter, instead being composed of dirt thought to be extracted from the space of [http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-4040], helium, and unidentified chemicals. It is also under investigation how these creatures survive.
SCP-4973-3 is a highly deadly solid humanoid memetic hazard that will attempt to wipe memories of everything within a 5-mile radius. It is formed when massive amounts of dead SCP-4973-2 clump together. These entities cannot be contained for examination due to the memetic hazard; however, unidentified symbols have been found written on the back of instances of SCP-4973-3.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-A is to be contained in a 5x5 security room in Site-777. Testing with SCP-XXXX must be approved by at least 5 members of the 0-5 Council, and the requester must be Lvl.4+. All software downloaded on SCP-XXXX must NOT be destroyed, and should instead be documented and filed away in Storage-XXXX-A.
Addendum A: Following Incident XXXX-1, no personnel who have tested with 914 should be admitted for testing with XXXX at all costs. Additionally, VR Equipment has been indefinitely suspended until further notice.
Description: SCP-XXXX-A is a hard drive consisting of unknown materials. X-rays of this hard drive say it is animate, and matches the dna of the head producer of the very little-known video-game creating company ███████ Xenon ███████.
SCP-XXXX-A has been noted to not have many anomalous abilities when not plugged in, but is noted to, "wiggle," around it's chamber, due to being sentient and animate (see test logs.)
When SCP-XXXX-A is plugged into a plug that fits it, it will begin it's anomalous effects, and the item or entity it is plugged into will become SCP-XXXX-B. The item or entity doesn't have to be a device, but the anomalous effects seem to have the most effect on devices, like Chromebooks and Computers.
SCP-XXXX-A will begin Stage 1 when plugged in. The effects of this vary, depending on what item or entity was plugged in.
Devices have been noted to have the following changes:
-Increased functionality.
-Download of highly dangerous malware. This malware, when observed closely, doesn't attack the device, but instead nests and creates territory inside devices, not damaging the system. The malware does not respond to any code, and appears to be empty.
-Increase of Firewall Security
-Frighteningly increased data storage.
-Increase of (DATA EXPUNGED)
-(DATA EXPUNGED)
Other items have been noted to have the following changes:
-Increased functionality.
-Flexibleness.
-Multi-use capability increased.
-In at least ██ cases, possible sentience ███ ████████. All instances affected by this should be sealed in humanoid containment chambers and immediately removed of SCP-XXXX-A.
Entities have been noted to have the following changes:

Any other items or entities that have been plugged in with SCP-XXXX-A and are still alive and/or functioning will begin to be able to function as a device, in at least ██ recorded varying ways. Entities expressed extreme panic and natural fear when they discovered this However, these other items and entities have, to date, not ever been affected in functionality and/or life needs by this alteration. When these items or entities, or devices, have software or tabs opened or downloaded, the device, item, or entity will be entered into Stage 2.
Stage 2 makes extreme alterations to what a normal device would function as. It appears these major differentiation's are only in effect once the device, item-device, or entity-device is interacted with.
Most frequent differences include:
-The most frequent system, Google, is missing, along with Google Search.
-The most used search device is a search system titled, "NetWire," which appears to have taken over all places involved with Google. Upon searching Google on this engine, the data stated that Google was a minor device organization that went bankrupt in ████ following a massive internet scam by acclaimed hackers, "KAI," and, "ALKATROSS."
-Software highly varies, and has a high risk of infecting devices with malware.
-Video-games and other sites highly differentiate in major ways.
When the device is infected with viruses or malware, Stage 3 begins.
Stage 3 Symptoms for regular and item devices will open up and spew small organisms that produce memetic hazards, due to impossible geometric shape. These instances will proceed to take control of the device or item-device and destroy anything they can until termination. These, "viruses," and, "malware," have been noted to have a wide range of intelligence. Most instances were primitive and were terminated via destruction of itself in attempts to destroy other items, but a very small amount of instances, around █%, have highly advanced intelligence, and have been noted to have the ability to use and craft tools, and have slowly developing civilizations. One instance was able to communicate, and another posed a high threat to the Foundation, posing as a humanoid and breaching Keter SCPS with unknown knowledge of how key-cards work. It is theorized that the viruses and malware can absorb the intelligence and knowledge of hosts, due to █████'s host being Agent ███████, Level 4 Personnel.

Test 001: D-3456 was brought to Stage 2 by plugging in SCP-XXXX-A and downloading Super Mario World. The following notes were made about game-play differences;
-Mario's head was missing for the entire game, and was occasionally seen floating in the distance.
-Koopa Troopas were noted to be bright purple with red shells, and could only be destroyed by fire.
-Goombas appeared to be 2 times bigger than normal, and could go through blocks by destroying them.
-Piranha Plants appeared to be docile throughout the game until Mario made contact with grass, upon which they became extremely hostile and breathed fire.
-Mario only had one life.
-Levels after level 1 included unidentified enemies not included in the Mario Franchise yet, including giant earwigs that had pincers, and three stomps that were required to defeat one, as well as hostile versions of Mario, and (DATA EXPUNGED), which included entities identical to multiple entities held by the Foundation, with similar effects on the player as they have on normal real-life entities.

-Level 2 includes extreme memetic hazards, saying, "HE DIES," "(EXPLETIVE REDACTED)," and, "(MEMETIC HAZARD EXPUNGED)," across the level walls.
-Level 1 blocks were rearranged in a completely different manner, and spelled out a sentence; "WE WERE ALWAYS WRONG."
-Level 4 was noted to have an infinite expanse with endless generating space.
-upon searching the code for the game, the coded sections appeared blank.
Test 002: D-3456 downloaded Pac-Man while plugged into SCP-XXXX-A.
The following differences were noticed in game-play:
-Ghosts jump-scared the player when killing them.
-Pac-Man dies when eating fruit.
-Pac-Man is very fast.
-Ghosts can go through walls.
-Blinky was missing from game-play. Upon further investigation, a secret room was found with Blinky behind a solid cage. Blinky appeared to be crying. A neon sentence above said, "THEY LIED TO HIM."
Test 003 (Incident XXXX-1); D-3456 used Virtual Reality Goggles with downloaded VR Centipede game while plugged into SCP-XXXX-A. When the subject put on the VR Goggles, (DATA EXPUNGED), killing nearby personnel in a 1-mile radius. D-3456 expired after evaporating from explosion. The entity is question proceeded to (DATA EXPUNGED), shutting off main power support. (DATA EXPUNGED) Entity contained. Testing has been suspended temporarily, as MTF Teams are attempting to remove ████ baby centipedes from power lines and into minor entity containment.
