Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4863 is currently contained in [REDACTED], Minnesota at site ██ (“Lannersville”). The site is to be constantly monitored for new instances of SCP-4863-1 entering or exiting the area and precautions must be taken to ensure the containment of “Lannersville” remains secret to SCP-4863 and all civilians in the area. All instances of SCP-4863-1 are to be tracked by Task Force Tau-5 (“Quest For Fun”) which has been organized to limit the influence SCP-4863 and SCP-4863-1 can gain in regional governments as well as eliminate the threats of insurgency cells made by SCP-4863-1 around the globe.

Containment of SCP-4863-1 is a constant monitoring of activities and movement when not in the area of “Lannersville”

Description: SCP-4863 is a psychic presence in the fifteen square mile area of [REDACTED], Minnesota which affects human individuals of caucasian descent. Any individual affected by the presence (SCP-4863-1) begins to inhibit signs of common “Redneck” behavior as well as introducing themselves as “Lanners”. SCP-4863-1 then take residence in the area of the presence and the community known as “Lannersville” to inhabitants. SCP-4863-1 which do not take up residence instead migrate to another area for the purpose of “expanding influence”.

As of current there are ████ known instances of SCP-4863-1 in █ areas of the world, including: North America, Asia, [REDACTED], and Europe1. It has been noted that the distance away from “Lannersville” corresponds to the amount of influence SCP-4863 has on SCP-4863-1, with some becoming self sufficient and abandoning SCP-4863 entirely.

Below is an incomplete log of incidents relating to SCP-4863. A full list can be found in Document 4863-I.

Incident 4863-1: On ██/██/2003, a small previously unknown group of armed SCP-4863-1 attacked and took control of the capitol building in [REDACTED] declaring the area as part of the “Free State of Lanners” to all inhabitants. Task Force Tau-5 arrived on scene and managed to capture or eliminate all SCP-4863-1 and administered Class-A amnestics to all civilians in the affected area.

Incident 4864-8: On ██/██/2018, two unique instances of SCP-4863-1 were located via internet sources in [DATA EXPUNGED], Texas. Both instances have become aware of the psychic presence in “Lannersville” and an investigation has been started to reveal any threats to the security of SCP-4863 and the Foundation.
