Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX Must be hermetically sealed in a petri dish at all times. It cannot be allowed to come into contact with 02 or any chemical compound that contains Oxygen. Employees that enter the containment facility must be wearing protective bio-suits at all times. If the bio-suits are unknowingly faulty the employee must be quarantined within 8 hours of contact.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a microscopic nanobot of alien origin. It is almost completely made up of steel, biological compounds, and an unknown alloy. It is 20 nanometers across and long, making it much smaller than most viral bacteria. At the center of it is a computer microchip which is far more advanced and sophisticated than any known technology on earth. The computer chip contains a long-distance transmitter that can send and receive messages as far as 2.537 million light-years away.
Behaviors: SCP-XXXX is an artificial airborne virus that can infect and spread at an exceedingly alarming rate. SCP-XXXX infects individuals by making contact with an oxygen molecule near the aforementioned individual. It attaches itself to one of the oxygen particles and uses its weight to adjust its flight path. This allows it to fly directly into an individual's mouth and infect it. Once infecting a human, which will now be referred to as SCP-XXXX-01, it will reside within SCP-XXXX-01's excretory organs (such as the intestines) and consume SCP-XXXX-01's fecal matter for nutrition. It will then reproduce until SCP-XXXX-01 is at maximum capacity(When SCP-XXXX-01 is not producing enough fecal matter to support any more nanobots). The only symptoms that it causes is a lack of fecal matter. The virus remains passive until it receives a transmission known as the "Kill Switch". This will cause SCP-XXXX to move to SCP-XXXX-01's brain stem and begin burrowing into it. Within 10 minutes of receiving the transmission SCP-XXXX will have complete control over SCP-XXXX-01's motor functions. It will then become one entity known as SCP-XXXX-02. SCP-XXXX-02 will proceed to walk to one of 8.5 Million designated coordinates, referenced as "Collection Points" in the code written on the microchip. It is unclear what was meant to take place there, but it is clear that SCP-XXXX is of alien origin. We must be vigilant of further alien attacks.
