Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4570-1 is to be monitored for twenty-four hours a day by alternating between four D-class personnel, each assigned six-hour surveillance periods. Instances of SCP-4570-B that are emerging and/or have emerged from SCP-4570-1 are to be terminated on sight by D-class personnel using weapons and munitions at their disposal in concordance with Protocol 4570-CELSUS. Personnel are to use incendiary munitions to terminate a large exodus of SCP-4570-B instances.
Civilians who encounter instances of SCP-4570-B or SCP-4570-1 are to be administered amnestics corresponding to level of exposure. Access to SCP-4570-1 is strictly forbidden to C-class personnel and above.
Description: SCP-4570 is the collective designation of a breed of Nymphicus hollandicus1 which currently inhabit ~15.7% of nonexistent space. When contained within this space, individual instances, hereby referred to as SCP-4570-A, may appear and behave in a non-anomalous manner2until exiting via SCP-4570-1, at which point anomalous properties will become apparent.
SCP-4570-1 is a static void located in Flagstaff Gardens in Melbourne, Australia. There are currently an estimated 930,000 SCP-4570-A instances contained within the nonexistent space accessible via SCP-4570-1.
Fig. 1.2: An instance of SCP-4570 after exiting nonexistent space.
Upon exiting into existing space, the material composition of instances of SCP-4570-A will cease to exist, effectively creating an intangible static void, hereby designated as SCP-4570-B. Light and sound cannot penetrate and/or pass through an SCP-4570-B instance, as SCP-4570-B instances do not possess dimension or texture.
As SCP-4570-B instances do not exist by definition of standard physics, physical contact cannot be established. Extant entities who approach an SCP-4570-B instance will be transported into nonexistent space, and will become nonexistent themselves.
SCP-4570-B instances will behave as a non-anomalous Nymphicus hollandicus, though will loudly vocalize and act with hostility when confronted physically, often times charging at their predator and/or prey.
Addendum 4570.1: Extensive foundation research has verified that the following principles regarding SCP-4570-B are factually and scientifically accurate statements. Personnel are not to differ from the following principles when describing SCP-4570-B in any way, shape, or form.
It has been established that:
- SCP-4570-B instances no longer exist.
- SCP-4570-A instances exist prior to becoming an SCP-4570-B instance.
- An influx of SCP-4570-B instances greater than seventy-one currently poses a non-zero chance of resulting in an XK-Class End-of-Reality Scenario.
