Special Containment Procedures: Personnel attempting to use the anomalies within SCP-XXXX to benefit their own well being should be detained and prosecuted.

SCP-XXXX during retrieval

SCP-XXXX is to be stored at Site-66 in a standard storage container. SCP-XXXX is only to be opened for testing with written permission from level 04 personnel. The objects included inside SCP-XXXX are to remain inside SCP-XXXX unless used for testing. SCP-XXXX-2 is to remain inside a small envelope within SCP-XXXX due to the manifestation of its anomalous properties triggering when an organism directly views the image. The note found within SCP-XXXX has been confiscated by MTF units. A digital version of the note has been released for all personnel to review.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a standard wooden chest measuring 30cm x 15cm x 10cm. The initial retrieval of SCP-XXXX, MTF units retrieved 6 items found inside of SCP-XXXX. Each item has been classified as SCP-XXXX-1-5, a sixth item has been obtained from the chest but does not manifest any anomalous traits. Items within SCP-XXXX are found to alter emotions through various different interactions such as touch, direct visuals, and hearing.

SCP-XXXX-1-5
SCP-XXXX-1	SCP-XXXX-1 is a small, blue teddy bear. Subjects which come into physical contact with SCP-XXXX-1 will feel an uncontrollable feeling of happiness. After subject's physical contact with SCP-XXXX-1 ceases, effects on the subject will last up to ten minutes in length.
SCP-XXXX-2	SCP-XXXX-2 is a 5cm x 8cm Polaroid photo of a man and woman at what is presumably their wedding. The faces have been scribbled over with using a black colored marker. Subjects directly looking at SCP-XXXX-2 will be overcome with an uncontrollable emotion of sadness. Once SCP-XXXX-2 is no longer in the line of sight to the affected subject, effects on the subject will last up to ten minutes in length.
SCP-XXXX-3	SCP-XXXX-3 is a divorce file for two persons by the names ██████ ████ and █████ ██████████. When subjects come into physical contact with the sheet they show high levels of stress and anger. Once physical contact with SCP-XXXX-3 ceases, effects on the subject will last up to five minutes in length.
SCP-XXXX-4	SCP-XXXX-4 is a cassette tape with the song "You Are My Sunshine" by artist: Johnny Cash. Subjects which listen to SCP-XXXX-4 instantaneously fall into a calm state. Subjects which have listened to SCP-XXXX-4 act as if they are unsure of their surroundings, similar to the effects of Marijuana. Once the tape has ended and the subject is no longer in hearing range to SCP-XXXX-4, effects on the subject will last up to two minutes in length.
SCP-XXXX-5	SCP-XXXX-5 is a red hair ribbon manufactured out of silk. Subjects coming into physical contact with SCP-XXXX-5 will feel an unrelenting feeling of passion and affection to those of importance in the subjects life. Once physical contact with SCP-XXXX-5 ceases, effects on the subject will last up to twenty-five minutes in length.

The sixth item found in SCP-XXXX is a note written on an 8.5 x 11 piece of loose leaf. The O5 Council has released a digital version of the actual copy of the note. Information unauthorized to foundation personnel has been redacted.

I know we haven't been on the best terms since mom and dad died, but I am truly sorry for the loss of your wife to divorce and the children's custody. It has come to my attention that you have been going through a lot lately with depression, anger and overall hatred for yourself. I have sent you a chest, unlock it. The boxes inside contains 5 different objects that I know meant a lot to you, and I've modified them in my workshop to help you control your emotions. Interviewer: Dr. ██████

Foreword: After the retrieval of SCP-XXXX, Dr.██████ was given the chance to test on the many anomalous objects held within SCP-XXXX. D-4568 was chosen to for use in this test due to his history with cooperation in foundations tests.

<Begin Log, 7/24/████>

Dr. ██████: Alright, D-4568, my name is Dr. ██████. Did they tell you what we will be doing today?

D-4568: Nah, they just opened the cell and dragged me out, but I'm guessing if my orientation sheet was right that this is a testing facility, and you're doing a test? Am I right, doc?

Dr.██████: Precisely. Now you may be wondering what all of these objects we have spread out across this table are for, correct?

D-4568: Just get to the point would you?

Dr.██████: Very well then. I want you to interact with each of the objects as I tell you to. First off, hug the bear.

D-4568: What the [DATA EXPUNGED] kind of test is this?

Dr.██████: Hug the bear or we will get another D-Class to do it for us.

Security points their firearms at D-4568.

D-4568: Fine, jeez, I'll do it. Just tell your friends over there to put their [DATA EXPUNGED] guns away. It's making me uncomfortable.

** Dr.██████ notions to the security officers to lower their weapons and they comply with his orders.**

D-4568 is seen hugging the teddy bear.

Dr.██████: How do you feel D-4568?

D-4568: I-I feel great! I feel so happy! Ha ha!

Dr.██████: Perfect. Are you ready for the next part of the test?

D-4568: I'm ready when you are, doc!

Dr.██████: The envelope right here. Inside is a small photograph. I want you to take it out and look at it.

D-4568 is seen reaching into the envelope and sliding out the small image. Everyone in the room avoids eye contact with it.

D-4568: What is this…

Dr.██████: Pardon? How do you feel?

D-4568 is visibly sobbing. Dr.██████ takes quick note of this.

Dr.██████: Shall we continue on from that one?

D-4568: I haven't cried since the day my sister went into that deep slumber of death.

Dr.██████: Are you okay? Do you need us to pause the test?

D-4568 slides the image back into the envelope

D-4568: No, everyone needs to cry every now and again, doc. I don't know what these things are and why they make me feel this way, and I'm sure you don't either so let's figure it out together.

Dr.██████: Wow, alright. The next item is a divorce paper, crush it in your hands.

D-4568 grabs the paper and crushes it in his hand.

Dr.██████: D-4568? how do yo-

D-4568: WHAT THE [DATA EXPUNGED]. YOU THINK YOU PIGS CAN JUST KEEP PLAYING WITH MY EMOTIONS LIKE THIS!? MY SISTER WAS SHOT AND KILLED! BY WHO? BY A DRUNK MAN WITH NO LOVE IN HIS HEART! THAT MAN WAS ME! AND YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST PLAY WITH ME LIKE I'M A TOY, DOC?! HUH!

D-4568 was detained by site security after getting too close to Dr.██████. 2 hours later the interview continued.

Dr.██████: Alright, you have calmed down, have you?

D-4568: Let's just finish this.

Dr.██████: The rest of us here are going to watch this next one from a room next door to this one. I want you to play the cassette tape once I say so over the intercoms.

D-4568: Right.

Dr.██████ exits the room followed by his escorts.

Dr.██████ (Intercom): Play the tape.

After 3 minutes Dr.██████ orders D-4568 to stop playing the tape and enters the room once again.

Dr.██████: How do you feel now?

D-4568: Calm. So-so calm…

Dr.██████: Calm as in happy?

D-4568: No.. I feel like I'm flying with the angels. Ha ha…

Dr.██████: Alright, well we have one last object for you to interact with.

D-4568: Let's.. Do it…

Dr.██████: The ribbon placed in front of you. Touch it.

D-4568 complies with his orders and touches the ribbon.

Dr.██████: And?

D-4568: I miss them so much…

Dr.██████: Your sister?

D-4568: My whole family… I want to see them again…

Dr.██████: At the end of the month you wil-

D-4568 gets up from his seat and runs toward one of the security escorts. The security officer shoots D-4568 3 times in the chest.

D-4568: Thank you…

D-4568 is deemed terminated.

Closing Statement: The human mind is not strong enough to withstand the powers SCP-XXXX-1-5 have on a living organism. I suggest any plan to use this to control one's emotional stability should no longer be taken into account.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small tropical island located 200 km off the Western shore of ██████. SCP-XXXX has a perimeter of approximately 10 km x 14 km, and a surface area of 140 km^2.

SCP-XXXX shows signs of being somewhat sapient, being able to move on its own accord. The center of SCP-XXXX's surface will raise up approximately 0.5 meters above the regular altitude and back down indicating a need for oxygen. SCP-XXXX moves at a speed of 15 km an hour when not in dormancy. SCP-XXXX will go into a stat of dormancy for an average of 3 months before returning to it's normal state for an average of 7 months.

Old City Lake

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be fenced off using a 4m tall, barbwired, steel fence. SCP-XXXX is to be under a 24/7 hour watch by no less then 4 armed personel, rotating every 6 hours. If any unauthorized civilian life are to enter the premises of SCP-XXXX while SCP-XXXX-A is on the surface of SCP-XXXX, personnel are to distrubute amnestics as nessacary. Once every month a D-Class personnel is to be approptriated to SCP-XXXX-A to ensure its survival.

SCP-XXXX before begin fenced off.

Personnel are to never the fenced off area of SCP-XXXX. (See incident XXXX-3B.) All exploration attempts of SCP-XXXX's depths are to be conducted using remotley controlled submarines with the expressed permission of the Ethics Committe.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a pond with a surface area of 750 m². The depth of SCP-XXXX is currenty unknown, with further exploration needed to determine an exact depth. SCP-XXXX resides in a large clearing aproximently 3km into forested area. SCP-XXXX is devoid of all life with the exeption of SCP-XXXX-A.

SCP-XXXX-A is a humanoid eldarly women, showing to be in her late 70's, which habits the depths of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-A is able to old its breath for up to 30 minutes before having to rise to the surface for air. SCP-XXXX shows purely carnivorous, eatting primarly on species of Anatidae which land upon the surface of SCP-XXXX, but will devour any biological life in the lakes facinity. All of SCP-XXXX-A's obseravble teeth are canine. The nails of SCP-XXXX-A's are aproximently 5cm in length, with a pointed tip.

All attempts of communication with SCP-XXXX-A have been unsucessful. Personnel have come to the conclusion of SCP-XXXX-A not being able to understand the english lanuage any lanuage. SCP-XXXX-A has been observed communicating through low frequency groans.

SCP-XXXX-A does not swim in a way in that a regular humanoid would. SCP-XXXX-A's swimming motions resembles that of a alligator. SCP-XXXX-A is capable of swimming to up to speeds of 56km per hour.

Addendum XXXX.1: Discovery

SCP-XXXX was discovered by a town located 5km out from SCP-XXXX after 3 local teens went to the lake for a summer swim. After not returning for home the childrens parents left to find them. All 3 children were found with 40% of their muscle and tissue still attached to their bodies, washed up around the edges of SCP-XXXX. Agents were called to the site to control the situation, and a fence was built up aroudn SCP-XXXX. The town was given class █ amnestics.

During the process of containing SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-A reached the surace for air, and watched foundation personnel for aproximently 1 hour before returning under the water.

Addendum XXXX.2: Log ██/██/████

After doing research on SCP-XXXX I came upon a tale told by the people of ████ █████, Canada for ages. SCP-XXXX is told to be a lake created by the very gods which came together to build the very world we live in. The supposed purpose of SCP-XXXX was to hold the many secrets to creation and a portal to "The Other Side." The depth of SCP-XXXX is unclear, having some stories give multiple different measure ments ranging from 300km to 100,000,000km in depth.
The stories describe SCP-XXXX-A as a demon in whcih was caught by the gods attempting to posion the blood wine they drank from, and banished the entity to forever guard the lake and feast upon those who try and seak the bottom.
The authentisity of the stories are questionable, but are not totally out of the picture for being a conclusion to what SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-A are, and should be accounted for.

Addendum XXXX.3: Observations

Date: ██/██/1998
Time: 17:56, AST.

Observation: A duck landed upon the surface of SCP-XXXX. Soon after its initial landing SCP-XXXX-A was spotted in the water right below it, noticably still, watching the animal. The duck submerged its head into the water attempting to snatch a fish, but instead had its head bitten clean off before having its body dragged into the dark depths of SCP-XXX, by SCP-XXXX-A.

Note: SCP-XXXX-A has more animal-like, predatory traits than human ones. SCP-XXXX is observed its intelligence to await for when prey are most vulnerable before attacking, and using sneaking tactics to further inhance its chance of a sucessful catch.
