Special Containment Procedures: Use explosive rounds to stun it until unconcious
Description: SCP-5036 is a humanoid resembling a young male of 11 years of age, and made of green crystals. Sever stick out here and there, likely to protect against melee attacks, rendering the foundations batons useless, but explosives cause pain and trauma to it, which it expresses through screams and wails when it experiences pain. SCP-5036 was discovered by tourists in 1987 in the famous crystal caves in mexico, reportedly gnawing on it. One of the tourists made fun of it, and attempted to shove it down. It seems to have a short range telepathic ability because as the tourist stretched out an arm to shove it, the SCP lifted a hand and a series of crystals formed near instantly, impaling the tourist who later died of his wounds. The remaining tourists called 911, and SCPF personele arrived to contain SCP-5036. They contained it but not without great struggle. They then brought it to a secure location in which they could perform tests. They learned that the green crystals that make up its humanoid structure are extremely durable. It is able to shred diamond, but is not impervious to explosions. the cause of this is unknown. It relies on Gems, jewels, crystals, and crystal like minerals for food. When threatened, it can sprout crystals from either the crystals on his body, or from his hands to impale what it deems a threat. It has a telepathic ability that only works on creatures within [blocked] meters of it. It also seems to know where the nearest jewels are. as it grows hungrier, its range of jewel detection grows. if it has not eaten in {blocked} hours, and its range is {blocked} meters away, it will scream and wail. about one minute after, it will pound the walls of its containment cells, and sometimes, even breaks out. Once it stared hungrily in the direction of the nearest jewelry store. To combat this every now and then, it is rationed a single quartz mineral about 3" across and 2" tall, and 1" in depth. But sometimes even this will not sate its appetite, and due to the risk of a breach in foundation secrecy to a breakout, it has been moved to a remote site. Coincidently, unaware to foundation personele, the site it was transfered to was sitting on top of a large mineral deposit. and SCP-5036 broke containment, but instead of trying to escape, it began to madly claw and dig at a single spot. after re-containment, personele discovered that he was trying to get at said mineral deposit. SCP-5036 has been transefered again to another site. Since there were no minerals within its range except for the ones it would be occasionally rationed, it broke containment and consumed all of the site`s mineral rations theyd stored for it. Since It has escaped frequently causing much loss of life and sometimes even breaching another scp, it is too dangerous to be kept alive, and a petition is in progress to execute SCP-5036.
