Item #: SCP-4626
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4626 is to be kept in a standard cubicle room, no larger than 5 x 5 meters. Under no circumstances should any objects occupy the back-left-most corner of the room (see addendum 1). During an period of ambulatory motion, no personnel are permitted to enter the room until the ambulation event has resolved. When SCP-4626 reaches its "resting" position, a D-Class personnel is instructed to return SCP-4626 to the center of the room. Following its return, SCP-4626 may be interacted with for exactly sixty (60) minutes before it enters another ambulatory phase. If any personnel interact with SCP-4626 during its ambulatory event, no additional personnel are permitted to enter the containment cell to recover remains until the event is resolved. Any maintenance and/or cleanup that is required in SCP-4626's containment area must not occur any later than 50 minutes following SCP-4626's position being reset. At exactly 50 minutes of the reset period, all entrances to the containment area will be automatically hermetically sealed. Any personnel accidentally sealed in the containment area are to be instructed to avoid the path of SCP-4626 and remain on the right corner of the room until the ambulatory event is resolved.
Description: SCP-4262 is a cardboard box of 2' x 2' area, without any noticeable alternative characteristics. However, SCP-4262 will invariably gradually move to the left-most corner of whatever room it is placed in. Usually the speed is around 0.8 kph, although the velocity seems slower in smaller containment spaces. However, when an obstacle is presented to SCP-4262, its velocity and physical properties drastically alter themselves to overcome any obstacle in the most direct manner. There is no visible i
Tests have involved placing weighted objects into SCP-4262 to attempt to impede its progress, which had no effect on relative velocity. Other tests have demonstrated remarkable alterations to conventional physics.
