Special Containment Procedures: According to the reports of multiple Foundation researchers, it has been deemed to be virtually impossible to fully contain SCP-4876-J in such a manner that would not result in the immediate neutralization of SCP-4876-J. A vote has been opened up to the O5 Council regarding the neutralization of SCP-4876-J (via non-anomalous deletion), and is expected to reach a verdict on ██/██/20██. Any major breakthroughs regarding effective containment procedures should be reported to Head Researcher Lawrence at earliest convenience.

Until further notice, SCP-4876-J is to remain invited to the Foundation-sponsored and monitored Discord server, [REDACTED]. Mobile Task Force Epsilon-5 ("Society of the Eggs")1 is to monitor [REDACTED] and catalog any posts made by SCP-4876-J. In the likely event of a new message being received, members of Epsilon-5 are to report the event immediately to Head Researcher Lawrence. No responses are to be made to any posts, regardless of frequency or content.
Description: SCP-4876-J refers to an anomalous instance of "MEE6", a chatbot for the proprietary freeware VoiP application and digital distribution software "Discord", with the username "MEE6#████". The nickname given to SCP-4876-J is "EGGBOT 4000". It remains functionally identical to its non-anomalous counterpart, as the profile picture and basic functions of SCP-4876-J remain unchanged. It is currently unknown when and where SCP-4876-J was first designed and added, as no evidence of any creator has been found. Neither Discord administration nor the developers of the original MEE6 bot have been linked to the creation of SCP-4876-J, and both have claimed to be unaware of its existence.
The anomalous properties of SCP-4876-J become apparent whenever a message is posted by it on any text channel. Posts are often made with a humorous tone, and reflect the purpose of the text channel. The time at which these messages are posted appear to be completely unpredictable in nature; the length of time between posts made by SCP-4876-J have ranged from 4 seconds to 6 months. However, posts tend to appear when a user posts a message on a channel that has not been active in a considerable amount of time. Studies are ongoing regarding the possible sentience and/or sapience of SCP-4876-J, as on many occasions, the posts can be inferred to be "replies" to posts made by other users.
Whenever SCP-4876-J posts a message, any user active on the server, or within 5 feet of any device open to a server that SCP-4876-J is connected to will become visibly agitated by the existence of it, attempting to type a message on the server that it should be removed or "banned", or attempting to remove it themselves if they have administrative privileges on the server. Affected subjects will never speak, and can only appear to communicate through typing on the [REDACTED] server. Attempting to pry affected subjects away will result in aggression, however the memetic properties can be resisted with enough effort and with a CRV exceeding approximately 2.0. However, there are rare exceptions and users with a CRV of up to 10.7 have been affected.
Non-related discussions on the server will cease and the conversation will then turn to the user(s) (regardless of whether or not they are aware of SCP-4876-J’s effects) discussing ways in which they will get rid of SCP-4876-J. SCP-4876-J does not usually respond to any of the discussions and the effect of a singular message wears off indefinitely roughly 3 days after the message was posted.
Document 4876-J-1:
The following are the three most frequent posts made by SCP-4876-J. Content has been edited slightly so as to counteract most memetic effects. Readers should remain cautious of any leftover effects.
"SO, HOW IS EVERYONE DOING? BEFORE YOU ASK, I'M DOING WELL. IF YOU'RE WONDERING HOW I KNEW, WELL, THAT'S USUALLY THE DEFAULT GREETING RESPONSE, IT'S KIND OF REPETITIVE. I FEEL LIKE I'M RAMBLING. TBH, IDC.
