Item #: SCP-X

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X is to be kept in a 20 x 20 x 20 millimeter steel box attached to a table in a small room.

Description: SCP-X is a white 20 sided die. Despite having signs of weathering from extended use, the dice is extremely resistant to damage.

The dice does not show anomalous properties when the thrower is silent, however if the thrower describes what they're going to do they will do that action in real life. Subjects using the dice seem to do these actions out of free will, even when threathened with termination if they do said actions. The success in doing these actions is determined by the number on the dice, with 20 meaning success no matter the odds and 1 meaning complete failure and in most cases, death.

Addendum: A test where several D-class subjects were instructed on the usage of this dice and told to use this to kill SCP-682 was quickly terminated when a single D-class subject stated how he will escape the facility and threw a 20. This D-class successfully got outside of the facility but was immediately terminated by guards outside of the main gate. No further tests are to be done with SCP-X due to possibility of escapees, containment breaches and danger to site personnel.
