Description: SCP-4873 is the designation for an abandoned street located in ███████ ███████ SCP-4873 has a measurement of being 15 meters wide and an unknown length. SCP-4873 is enveloped in a fog bank that restricts vision to a range of 1.2 meters. Upon entering, smoke begins to rise from farther down the street. The street air gets excessive and the sky gets murky. SCP-4873 can appear to be longer than when first looked into from the start of the street. The street lamps that are along the street have that of a high-pressure sodium light bulb. On the sides of the road, there are trees dispersed about illogically and have no purpose to the main street. Some cars have been seen parked on this road but have decamped when came back to the location of the car. No evidence advocates that anybody from outside owns these vehicles. Some hallucinations have occurred while walking down the street.

Most subjects who have entered this area hear unnatural noises. They noted that their optics were quickly dimmed. They also noted seeing hallucinations. This includes having seen brilliant luminous lights occur in their vision. Sounds like dog growls could be heard off to the marginal of the road. Subjects who have encountered this street first have experienced hallucinations when they could no longer see the street entrance. The longest walk down the street had been recorded at 1.5 miles. Subjects noted though they could still see far down the street still once reached this point. There does not seem to be a terminus point of SCP-4873.

Subjects and C-class personnel have sighted a contour of a personage standing at the outlying end of the street. Figure known as SCP-4873-1 has been seen to disappear when getting near. No image or description could be provided since only a slight silhouette was seen. Figure reappears after the dog growl could be heard located farther down the street. The figure has been seen at the entrance as well and comes near the time of dawn. The figure likes the cloudy atmosphere. Subjects have noted that hallucinations could be connected to this figure.

Addendum 4873-A: A 3-week epoch has passed since the original subjects have entered the area and personnel have noted that the street lamps have been flickering more often and caused some parts of the street to go completely foggy when viewed from the outside. A roadblock has been seen thrown against the side street. No cars or subjects will be able to go down the street unless needed for supplemental tests.

Addendum 4873-B: At 5:45 on ██/██/20██, security personnel were attempting inspection when they had noted a sighting of 4873-1. They saw the entity closer to the entrance. The entity had acted differently than last noted. It had stayed in place without moving or disappear from the location. The entity had walked █ miles before dashing into the woods. There had seemed to be a path leading into the woods. Personnel had sent 2 D-class down the section to attempt to lure the entity back into the area. The D-Class had not returned until the next day and only one had returned.

Addendum 4873-C: Information from last night was told to personnel by D-Class. There had been a sighting of an abandoned cabin. A very small cabin deep inside the woods. The D-Class had not remembered going deep into the woods next to SCP-4873 that evening. The cabin had been designed in a way to withstand weather and nature. Paint on the cabin had seemed new and logs were not damaged. Further inspection will be needed.

Incident 4873-1:

On ██-██-20██, A operation was taken place by a mobile task force sent by higher individuals in the foundation. The team had come across the cabin and entered. Securing the cabin some members stepped outside to be greeted by the entity. The entity had started to have peculiar movements. Other smaller humanoid entity's had started to appear from the forest. Faint sounds could be heard coming from the mouth of the entities. Then the entity's had dissipated into the fog. Causing the trees around the cabin and the cabin itself to ignite into flames. Task force quickly exited forest knowing the flames could not spread. Upon the return of the mobile task force, [DATA EXPUNGED].
