Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 4 x 4 x 4 squared concrete containment cell with no video equipment allowed. Personnel are to be instructed to enter the nearest breach shelter in the event of a host falling under SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects. The cell is checked every 1-3 weeks for any cracks or any damage indicated. Personnel inside the cell, are instructed to not lay eye contact on the object. Any personnel who do lay eye contact on the object are to be terminated and incinerated with special equipment. As of containment, SCP-XXXX has breached containment 8 times, 2 of which are unsuccessful. Once SCP-XXXX materializes in a random location and is relocated through Foundation Maps, agents are to be dispatched to the location for recontainment. Testing is strictly forbidden due to risks of high casualties and a containment breach.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a wooden knife with sides burnt indicating someone or something tried to burn the object. It does not display any other unique appearances and was thought to be a normal wooden knife until after reports of victims displaying a very strange and dangerous behaviour. In the process of containing the knife, 3 agents fell to its affects. The object has the ability to 'lure' any victim towards it once eye contact is maintained. Images or artist depictions do not trigger this activity. Once said victim equips the knife, the victim is now labelled as SCP-XXXX-A. The instance suddenly feels an urge to kill any other unsuspecting victims and will hunt a set target for the duration of the hunt until the target is killed by the instance or the instance is terminated. Once the instance has killed the target, it has been observed to 'ingest' the target before falling dead. After this, the instance has now been self-terminated and SCP-XXXX will dematerialize then materialize after a period of time (2-5 hours) in a random location.
