Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept on a wooden pedestal in a safe box. The box is kept in a 1.5 meter room with a small observation room overlooking the containment room. at least 1 level two security guard is to be watching the containment room while research is not taking place.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a translucent purple orb 15 centimeters in diameter, it can be safely handle by an personal and reacts to the weight of touch. When the orb is rubbed clockwise it will project a portal which shape imitates the orb's surface that has been rubbed. The portal can be seen by the naked eye. SCP-XXXX can be rubbed counter-clockwise to close the portal, thou the personal must rub the shape of the portal to close it.

When SCP-XXXX is activated the portal will be projected a meter away from it's center. The projection is always pointed away from the personal who has activated it and will be locked in the same distance and orientation to SCP-XXXX until it is deactivated thru the process above. The portal has a dark purple outline that can be grabbed by personal to lift themselves thru the portal. The inner-portal is a darker purple than the outline and can not be looked thru. SCP-XXXX's portal has a small width so it can be observed from any perspective.

Testing limits of SCP-XXXX abilities.
Procedure:
one D-Class personal is to enter the containment center and test various aspects of the SCP-XXXX.
Results:
Portal's length is increased to 750 centimeters. D-Class attempted to place SCP-XXXX through the activated portal and is met with failure.

Dr: R██████'s Notes: SCP-XXXX entrance to the portal is rejected, SCP-XXXX appears to be hitting a wall instead of going through the portal. Probably to prevent losing the item or just a coincidence.

D-Class attempt to close portal while keeping an inorganic object in portal is a success.

Dr: R██████'s Notes: When SCP-XXXX's portal was closing on the object, it was launched toward the D-Class personal at incredible speeds. This was not expected and requires more testing.

Analysis:
SCP-XXXX's portal respects physical bounds and will phase through walls, SCP-XXXX will rapidly eject inorganic objects back through the portal when it is being closed. SCP-XXXX can not go through the portal an will act as a solid wall when subject tries to get SCP-XXXX through the portal.
