**Special Containment Procedures:* The Exploding Bomb-omb is to be kept in a 5x5x5 meter reinforced steel room. It will be contained in a 1x1x1 meter glass box in the center of the room. A recording of the Nintendo 64 game Super Mario 64 music track “Bomb-omb Battlefield” should be playing at all times, on any device.
If the recording ever stops playing, the room is to be left alone for 1 hour, then a D-class is the enter and re-start the recording. If the recording is unable to restart, the room is to be left alone for 10 minutes, then a D-Class will replace the device with a working device.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 2.54x2.54x6.35 centimeter plastic figure of a Bomb-omb from the Super Mario series. It can walk about 1 meter in 30 minutes. It can jump 1 centimeter upwards, and .8 centimeters horizontally.
It was recovered from a home in ████████ near the town of █████.
The foundation located the anomaly after an explosion that only gave lasting burns to an ██ year old named █████. SCP-XXXX was in the center of the burn marks, unharmed. The foundation learned of it’s existence when a nearby hospital was called, and quickly arrived to the location. Proper anesthetics were applied to all witnesses.
The fuse on it’s top will sometimes spark. The sparks cannot start a fire, and are completely harmless if they touch a living entity. The sparks can leave a small black burn mark on non-living entities, but they will disappear within 1-10 minutes of appearing.
On the back portions appears to be a wind-up key. It cannot be pulled out. It can be twisted around. The key will spin on it’s own if The Exploding Bomb-omb is not exposed to certain music (refer to Special Containment Procedures).
If the key completes a full circle, the Exploding Bomb-omb will explode. Everything in a 2 meter radius will be burnt. Anything that can be set on fire with a small lighter will catch fire. Living objects will have 1st degree burns. The explosion from SCP-XXXX will not damage any non-living objects.
