Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5161 is to be kept in a 5m x 5m x 5m room with 2 pedestals inside, one being for SCP-5161 and the other holding a plate for food.
SCP-5161 must have constant surveillance and a guard in the room at all times even when testing using D-Class personnel.
SCP-5161’s containment chamber must have 1 ventilation duct but may only be opened when there is a guard monitoring the ventilation duct.
Ventilation in SCP-5161’s containment must be checked 3 times a day by class D personnel, if they start acting weird and attempt to talk to SCP-5161 they must be taken out immediately and administered class A amnestics.
If SCP-5161 becomes 5161-1 initiate procedure [REDACTED]. Only level 2 security clearance are authorized to open SCP-5161’s containment chamber.
Description: SCP-5161 is a standard level 2 scientist keycard with tendrils in the back of it and an eye where the QR code should be with a mouth holding teeth each 1m long on the back of SCP-5161, which is used for eating only it has been not known to talk.
The tendrils are a red purple gradient with rings near the end of being a midnight blue color. It has scales but doesn't feel scaly, it feels a slimy texture similar to a frog.
It communicates to all personnel using telepathy and understands all languages with ease except made up languages.
It has also been known to talk to SCPs that are living, this could be dangerous or it could be good, depending on the conversation, further testing required.
SCP-5161 has been known to be extremely cooperative with guard personnel and doesn’t cooperate unless a guard is present, any guards that interact with SCP-5161 seem to experience extreme happiness and have even been seen letting SCP-5161 sit on their head or be held in their hands depending on how long they are near the SCP.
SCP-5161-1 is a large creature with one eye in the front and the size of crocodile but instead of claws or paws it has nubs and it's head is blood red gradually turning into a purple color down its body and still having black rings near the end of its legs as well as a large tail strong enough to knock out a human being and causing severe damage to internal organs including, broken ribs, internal bleeding and squished organs.
SCP-5161 is not allowed near any clearance card higher than a scientist level 1 or 2 keycard due to anything else transforming it into SCP-5161-1.
SCP-5161 seems to also only eat raw meat and vegetables but only if the meat is fresh or killed within the last 10 hours and the vegetables only if they were grown in the ground, reasoning is unknown for either of the food types but it seems to be allergic as after eating it not the way it asks, SCP-5161 becomes distressed and starts turning a green coloration and becoming slightly hostile to nearest personnel all effects wear off after 1 day.

Test Objective: Interaction with SCP-5161 as a disguised D-Class who is a guard.
-Test Subject- Slowly walks towards SCP-5161
-SCP-5161- No reaction
-Test Subject- Touches SCP-5161
-SCP-5161- Proceeds to strangle guard personnel as another properly dressed guard walks into the chamber grabbing SCP-5161 who then strangles them as well in the end both guard personnel were KIA and afterwards SCP-5161 seemed in a somber sorrow mood as it didn't eat and faint sobs were heard in their head from all who approached it, they were inactive for a whole week while this happened and right before it had recovered the following interview happened.
-Scientist- Why did you kill the guard trying to get you off of the other person?
-SCP-5161- My mission is to kill all who interfere with me ridding them of their souls…
-Scientist- But why didn't you stop when you heard it was another guard you were strangling?
-SCP-5161 then proceeded to not cooperate and listen even with guard personnel-
--The following was an interview after SCP-5161’s containment--
Capt. Stars: “Ahh i remember this room…” [He swiped his finger across the table] “Been keeping busy eh?”
Dr. ██████████: [He stayed silent for a moment before talking] “Are you prepared?”
Capt. Stars: “Yes sir”
[The Doctor grabbed a file from the desk and and took out a folder handing it to the Captain]
Begin Log, 16:24
Dr. ██████████:”How did you find SCP-5161?”
Capt. Stars: “My squadron was heading to the facility during a containment breach when from the helicopter I spotted an odd sight Chaos Insurgents getting attacked from… something it was big and reptilian like but it was slimy like a frog so i ordered the pilot to land thinking it was the escaped SCP. After we landed nearby we snuck up on the creature and as soon as we were in its presence a somber mood rolled over me and I just couldn’t think to hurt it.”
Dr. ██████████: “Do you know why the Insurgents were there?”
Capt. Stars: “No but it looked like they were attempting to capture the SCP from what we saw.”
Dr. ██████████: “Continue on with how you captured and contained SCP-5161.”
Capt. Stars: “So we approached the SCP and I just put my gun away to show this creature that I wouldn't hurt it and it looked at me growling but it stopped seeing my gun slung on my shoulder and then slowly shrank changing into a keycard as it normally is.”
Dr. ██████████: “Capt. Stars you do realize if SCP-5161-1 was hostile it could’ve killed you correct?”
Capt. Stars: “It's part of the job even so I feel I did something good that day for the foundation and for the world.”
Dr. ██████████: “Thank you for partaking in this interview.”
Capt. Stars: “Alright take care.”

[Dr. ██████████ and [DATA EXPUNGED] Stars shook hands, then ended with [DATA EXPUNGED] Leaving the room. MTF Squadron Epsilon-11 designated [REDACTED] has been disbanded and recreated to form MTF Squadron Delta-26 designated [DATA EXPUNGED] for securing and containing of transforming SCPs]

Dr. Front: “Do you mind if i record this conversation?”
Mr. Edward: “Not at all…”
[The doctor turned on a camera and microphone]
Begin Log, 20:30
Dr. Front: “I'm going to ask a few questions and you will answer them truthfully”
Mr. Edward: “Yes Sir”
Dr. Front: “Have you interacted with SCP-5161 before the incident?”
Mr. Edward: “Yes of course I was one of the guards in it's cell that rotated out.”
Dr. Front: “Tell me about the incident.”
Mr. Edward: “I was rotating out of 5161’s cell to go on my break and when i got to the cafeteria I saw a Class D on the floor choking so i rushed over to help him and when i got over there the other Class D ambushed me and started beating me then threatening me, because they got my gun and they were piled up on me I couldn’t do anything… I felt so weak in that situation. But then from out of nowhere a loud roar was heard echoing throughout the facility as SCP-5161 proceeded to strangle the Class D to death.”
Dr. Front: “They had a gun, why didn’t they do anything?”
Mr. Edward: “I don’t know but it's like it paralyzed them because they couldn't even blink as 5161 wrapped a tentacle around each of them as small breaths came out and stopped as they fell to the floor dead SCP-5161 then proceeded to stay with me what i think was calling out to medics because not long after I was taken to the medbay and 5161 returned to it's cell without any complications and that’s what confused me. I want to believe that it saved me that day and not just to breach containment.”
Dr. Front: “Thanks for explaining it to us from your perspective… anything else you wanna let us know?”
Dr. Front: "Nothing else."

[The Doctor looked at the camera as Mr. Edward left]
Dr. Front: “With enough training or with enough time maybe and that's a big maybe we could make this SCP Thaumiel to help us because it shows great promise… I’m formally requesting access to train the SCP.”
[After this situation SCP-5161 was marked Euclid class level threat and was now under constant surveillance as well as guard personnel were placed on duty in its cell 24/7 now but they honestly didn't know how to feel due to it returning to its cell with no issue]
