SCP-4045 is composed mainly of dark matter, thus having matter and antimatter wiring, as well as matter and antimatter ammunition. On both it's sides is adjustables scale labelled

Grip of the weapon is theorised to be composed of both matter and antimatter, since the handle shapes itself to perfectly anatomically suit the user when picked up. In the place of trigger is a button, similar to those of toy pistols of [REDACTED] corps., which stopped working in 1996. No connection between the item and said corporation was found. When the button is activated, ions of matter and antimatter are transferred from ammunition via wiring to the barrel of the weapon, colliding and producing enormous amounts of energy, "firing" the unstable ray of various electromagnetic waves and particles. How the weapon manages to remain intact is unknown. The produced energy ray can reach power of 3██ megatons, surpassing any of the known weapons. The item is too risky to destroy, due to our lack of knowledge on antimatter and dark matter.

SCP-4045 was recovered in the ruins of city Hiroshima, Japan, after "atomic explosion" annihilated the said city by MTF Beta-7 ("Maz Hatters"). After recovery and initial testing, the said MTF team was administered C-class amnestics. They were informed with the information currently known to masses and the fictional entity erasing their memories on their mission to [REDACTED].
