Perimeter of SCP-4044-C is to be blocked to civillians at all times. If questioned, Foundation agents are to provide cover story 157: "Building under risk of collapsing". Any effects of SCP-4044-A or -B outside of SCP-4044-B are to be reported immidiately and containment procedures revised accordingly.
Description:
SCP-4044 consists of three designations, SCP-4044-A, SCP-4044-B and SCP-4044-C.
SCP-4044-A is a designation for what appears to be an old generator, situated in the basement of SCP-4044-C. Object needs no outside power sources to work and regularly produces electricity, shutting down between 11 PM and 6 AM local timezone. The anomalous properties manifest when SCP-4044-A is in active state. In the interior of SCP-4044-C probabilities of certain events occuring will change. Example would be interaction between objects with different temperatures, colder objects will get colder and warmer objects will get warmer upon interaction, odds of opposite happening incredibly low.
SCP-4044-B is a device connected to and, theoretically, powered by SCP-4044-A, which appears to be a 0.3X0.5X0.7 meter interconnected rectangles of unknown composition. The connection between the two entities is maintained by wires of unknown composition and coils of anomalously high inductivity. SCP-4044-B causes space disruptions among SCP-4044-C, which is theorised to be a side effect of the main function of the device, which is still unknown by this day(See Addendum 4044-1). SCP-4044-B activates roughly 6 hours after initial activation of SCP-4044-A and deactivates 6 hours after deactivation of SCP-4044-A, which leaves little time for safe exploration, thus not making it impossible.
SCP-4044-C is a designation for five-floored building in [REDACTED], Ukraine, in which SCP-4044-A and -B are situated. The building is anomalously durable, as affects of SCP-4044-A and -C would have demolished any other man-made structure within days.
Addendum 4044-1:
The following document was found in the first SCP-4044 exploration attempt:
We have achieved our goals- The Infinite Engine is finally complete! Not without some side effects, of course, but that's just how anomalies work. Energy crisis will be over and our names shall shine as the saviours of humanity! Congratulations, collegues!
Note: The document was found on the perfectly safe notice board, it seems that SCP-4044-A and -B were calibrated not to affect the location. Studies on the phenomenon ongoing.
Addendum 4044-2:
Conditions of discovery:
SCP-4044 was discovered after a series of dissapearences occured in [REDACTED], Ukraine. every subject who dissapeared was seen near SCP-4044-C, including twelve(12) civillians who tried to investigate the phenomenon. Local police investigation was halted before casualties could occur.
Addendum 4044-3:
SCP-4044 exploration logs. All time measures in logs are local. Starting from Expedition 4044-2, all subjects had carried video recording software.
