Per the greenlighting policy, first-time authors must get concepts reviewed in the Ideas Critique Forum or IRC chatrooms before creating a feedback thread in the Drafts and Critique forum. Draft critique can still be sought via IRC and PM without greenlights.

When you have a draft that you know for sure the audience will like, bring it to Drafts Critique Forum. Please note that the forums move much slower than the chat, and the draft forum moves slower than the ideas forum!

The mainsite-run IRC chatrooms are the most reliable source of real-time critique discussion.

Description: SCP- XXXX is a spherical mass of an metal like substance with no definite shape or colour, the object is sapient and responds to stimuli, even though there are no visible sensory receptors, the object is capable of changing shape and colour at will, and often does so in response to various stimuli. SCP- XXXX seems to able to assimilate whatever metal substance it comes into contact into itself, the original metal article which has been assimilated loses its original properties and therefore ceases to exist and becomes a part of SCP- XXX. Currently, there is no method to recover an object once it has been assimilated An object once assimilated can be recovered if SCP-XXXX is raised to 300^oC within 1 hour of assimilation.
