SPECIAL CONTAINMENT PROCEDURES:
Due to SCP-6000's anomalous nature, containment is currently impossible. Site-131 has been created in order to protect any survivors.

DESCRIPTION:
SCP-6000 is an event where all plants are classified as SCP-6000. SCP-6000 instances grow approximately 33 centimeters per minute. Anything alive that comes into contact with SCP-6000 is classified as SCP-6000-1. Burning SCP-6000 is ineffective and makes it more dangerous by releasing a toxic gas currently unidentified. SCP-6000 will grow towards the nearest person or animal. wearing layers of clothes will prevent this from happening.

SCP-6000-1 are animals, including humans that have come into contact with SCP-6000. The animal that came into contact with SCP-6000, starts rapidly turning to wooden statues. SCP-6000-1 is alive and extremely hostile, it attacks by touching the victim, turning them into another instance of SCP-6000-1. SCP-6000-1 has the appearance of the animal affected by SCP-6000.

site-131 is located in the mountains bordering █████, Utah. A mixture of sand, salt, borax, and powdered bleach is spread out 100 meters wide, and 1ft thick to best prevent plant growth. No plants are allowed around or inside of site-131.

Those wooden statues used to be humans, animals, bugs, or anything alive. I have lost my friends, family, anyone I ever cared about. Plants are growing too fast. It has covered multiple cities. Luckily, I'm here at site-131. This place seems like it was made for this type of event. A file was open, and, well, here I am, typing this entry.

Turns out, this place was made for the SCP-6000 event. I searched up site-131 on the site files and it is for this event. The SCP foundation is huge, I thought it was just for this event, but no, there are thousands upon thousands of them. from moving statues to entire other dimensions! there is a cafeteria here so at least there is something to eat. I’m gonna look around here to see if anyone else is here.

nope, no one, I wonder if anyone is even alive in Utah, it's been around 2 weeks since the 6000 events started. I just realized I forgot to introduce myself, well, here we go. hi, I am Parker Alare, I’m 27, I was a chef working at my very own steakhouse, and then this happened, I OPENED THAT STEAKHOUSE 2 MONTHS AGO DAMMIT. Anyways, there is nothing to do besides reading SCP files or sleeping. Speaking of sleep, it is getting late, it's almost 1 AM. Goodnight person in the future reading this after this is over. But the question is will this event end in the future…

Anyways I had a nice breakfast today, I made myself 4 pancakes instead of my regular 1. I'm used to cooking for a family… if only I could’ve saved them…

I feel much better now, sleep helps a lot. I dreamt that I was finally out of this mess. if only that was the case. one of the wooden statues managed to get in, but I was able to lock it out. I pushed it with a broom and locked the door. I guess I forgot to lock it.

Ok maybe, just maybe, pushing the statue away was a bad idea. They are around the building. Wait, I didn't say anything about my journey here. Well, I had to wear anything I could, goggles, glasses, pajamas, hoodies, you name it. The grass was tall when I started my journey, they weren't lying about plant growth increasing. Good thing I brought a big knife with me. I tried driving, but I ran out of gas after around 4 days. I was in Utah though, so that was a plus. I had to walk the rest of the way. That is when I lost my family… 3 days later, I arrived. The next week isn’t that important, the files were still locked on all of the site computers, And around 5 days ago, the files were unlocked.

Turns out, watching the plants grow is satisfying, I'm watching them through a window. 33 centimeters per minute is like 1 centimeter every 2 seconds. They grow up high and then after a bit, it falls, making a faint crashing noise.
