Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secure vehicle garage at Site 64. The keys to SCP-XXXX are to be kept in a standard item locker in a separate wing from SCP-XXXX's garage.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a red 2006 Toyota Corolla which when driven, always wins races, compelling other motorists to race it if not presently in a race. SCP-XXXX seems to be constructed of normal parts for a car of its make and model, however removing or replacing parts unless needed for maintenance prevents SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects.
When SCP-XXXX is driven, if there are any other motorists able to see it, they will feel compelled to race it, without stopping to consider why. Any passengers of these vehicles will also feel this compulsion, cheering on or encouraging their driver. The driver of SCP-XXXX feels no such compulsion to race, however, and may panic if not aware of SCP-XXXX’s anomalous effects. Once SCP-XXXX has compelled between 5 and 10 drivers to race it, other nearby motorists are much less likely to feel compelled to race. The race will continue until SCP-XXXX reaches its destination, or some notable local landmark, which SCP-XXXX will invariably arrive at before any compelled drivers. When the race completes, all compelled drivers will immediately lose their compulsion, often quickly followed by panic due to them travelling at great speed through busy streets. Once a race is complete, drivers will not be compelled to race again for at least 5 minutes.
SCP-XXXX seems to be able to improve its performance, handling, and durability at will, as well as manipulate luck around and within itself, in order to win races, and will do so as much as is necessary. This ability includes responding to deliberate efforts by its driver, opponents, or environment to force it to crash or lose the race.
