Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object class: Safe
Special containment procedures: Little containment is required, as the anomaly is largely self containing. Foundation agents are to position themselves as workers in public locations1 within █████████ to prevent suspicion, and web crawlers are to monitor popular social sites for extensive activity relating to the town of █████████, and if necessary shut down discussions.
Further containment is not believed to be necessary at the current point in time
Description: SCP-XXXX is the rural town of █████████, South Australia. All available records confirm that the population of the town is and always has been 0. Despite this, public locations such as petrol stations and cafes are always staffed. This discrepancy was discovered by Researcher ███████ of the Antimemetics division2 Interviews with workers universally uncover that all of them are travellers taking on part-time work, and none can recall the face of who conducted their employment interview.
Despite having a population of 0 and there being no locals in the town, the timber mill remains highly productive, supplying large amounts of pine wood to the ████ █████████ company. Further inquiries into the timber mill are planned for 20/5/18
Interviewed: Sarah Joshua
Interviewer: Researcher Alabaster Hamilton
Foreword: Researcher Hamilton approached Ms Joshua in the █████████ BP petrol station as she was serving customers, in an attempt to learn more about the town.
<Begin log>
Hamilton approaches the counter
Hamilton: So, what's living in █████████ like, if I may ask? What're the locals like?
Sarah: I don't live here.
Hamilton: Okay, where are you from?
Sarah: I'm from Eastern ██████████, I need more money to travel.
Hamilton: How did you end up working at a petrol station in █████████? Who is in charge here? Have you met any locals? Why did you come here?
Sarah: Look, I've got customers to serve. Unless you're police, get out of my face.
Sarah steps to the side and begins to serve the next customer
<End log>
Closing statement: All subsequent interviews have had similar results, with the subject naming the country they are from and requesting the interviewer leave.

Special containment procedures: The ████ █████████ timber company is to be prevented from expanding into further locations, with a focus on preventing the construction and operation of large scale timber mills. Foundation agents are to position themselves as workers in the ████ █████████ timber company, and web crawlers are to monitor popular social sites for extensive activity relating to the ████ █████████ timber company, and if necessary shut down discussions.
Research into more permanent containment measures is a priority
Description: SCP-XXXX is the ████ █████████ timber company. While all available records indicate that the company has consistently reported a profit and has continued to grow through multiple economic downturns, independent foundation research by [DATA CORRUPT] indicates that the company does not and has never existed.
The secondary effect of the anomaly is that any towns whose primary employer is the ████ █████████ company will over time have any population records destroyed or changed to zero, leading to all available data stating that the locations and all inhabitants wherein do not exist, despite the reality being to the contrary. Isolated backups of Australian Census results indicate that the effect first began in the town of █████████ during 1953.

Special containment procedures: The ████ █████████ timber company is to be destroyed as soon as possible. Foundation agents are not to position themselves as workers in the ████ █████████ timber company, and web crawlers are to monitor popular social sites for extensive activity relating to the ████ █████████ timber company, and if necessary shut down discussions. Backups of all government records are to be made daily and secured in Site-223B3 with the goal of slowing the spread of SCP-XXXX effect
Research into more permanent containment measures is a lost cause
Description: SCP-XXXX is the ████ █████████ timber company. While all available records indicate that the company has consistently reported a profit and has continued to grow through multiple economic downturns, independent foundation research by [DATA CORRUPT] indicates that the company does not and has never existed.
The secondary effect of the anomaly is that any locations with any branches of the ████ █████████ company will over time have any records destroyed or changed to zero, leading to all available data stating that the locations and all inhabitants wherein do not exist, despite the reality being to the contrary. Isolated backups of Australian Census results indicate that the effect first began in the town of █████████ during 1953, and rapidly spread to the entire nation.
Further research by the Antimemetics Division4 has determined that the anomaly has 3 stages. In stage 1, the ████ █████████ timber company will construct large timber mills within small towns, often positioned on highways. Once the mill becomes operational, in ~98% of cases it will begin providing employment to the majority of the town. In stage 2, the records of the town will be destroyed or changed to zero. This takes 6-12 months, or 1-3 years when the mill does not employ majority of the town. In stage 3, the process will repeat for all neighbouring regions, albeit greatly accelerated. Due to this acceleration, the growth of the anomaly's effects is exponential.

Object class: Keter
Special containment procedures: Any records pertaining to the ████ █████████ timber company, the former nations of Australia, Samothrace, New Zealand, Finland or any locations formerly contained within are to be destroyed immediately. Any staff with past interactions with any information relating to the stated subjects are to be amnesticized at the first available opportunity. After reading this article, all staff must view a memetic block agent that will prevent the recollection of the details of items in the list. Preventing the spread of SCP-XXXX is not currently believed possible, and further research is strictly forbidden
Description: SCP-XXXX is a highly contagious antimeme that conceptually deletes people, locations and organizations. Coming into contact with an SCP-XXXX contaminated concept will result in the contractor becoming a vector for the transmission of SCP-XXXX's effects, and any information related to the contractor will become contaminated as well, leading to exponential growth. Additionally, the more information the antimeme erases the faster and more powerful the infection will become- at the current point in time, simply looking at SCP-XXXX contaminated records will result in infection, regardless of if the subject read or understood the records.
The first appearance of SCP-XXXX was within the ████ █████████ timber company in 1945. By 1975, it had contaminated half of the state of South Australia, and by 1990 the entire state had been conceptually erased. The growth of the anomaly appeared to halt here until 2017, at which point it started rapidly expanding until the entire nation of Australia had been conceptually erased. By 2018, 3 new outbreaks had been discovered, and all staff previously associated with researching the topic had been conceptually erased, as well as Site 223B.
The expansion of SCP-XXXX's effect has continued rapidly growing, and current estimates by the Foundation show that, without powerful combative measures, the entire world will have been conceptually erased by 2025. Restoring destroyed concepts is currently believed impossible, and the only known way to prevent further spread is to destroy any affected information. However, this is becoming increasingly difficult as the infectious capabilities of the antimeme become more and more potent.
