Special Containment Procedures: A 1 kilometer radius around SCP-XXXX is to be secured at all times. Every 100 meters on this perimeter is to be a surveilance post to maintain security. Any unauthorized individuals attempting to enter the perimeter are to be interrogated, then amnesticized and released. A further 50 kilometer radius is to be monitored in case of any entities which may have breached from SCP-XXXX. Mobile Task Forces Victor-7 "Observer" and Victor-8 "Retriever" are on rotation to respond to any events pertaining to the object.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large Victorian style mansion, of 6 floors and three basement levels, located in [REDACTED]. All windows are locked and draped, and the entire structure is impervious to any and all damage. All persons within visual range of the building report feeling emotions of fear, dread, impending doom, and so on. This effect increases with proximity to the building.
The interior of the building on the ground level consists of an entry foyer, a large living room, a fully featured kitchen, 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, an office, with the rest of the rooms being entirely empty. Persons on this floor of the building report feeling comfortable, with the consistent description of "at home," with the exception of any stairwells leading to the upper floor or basement levels, which they report the previous feelings of trepidation upon observing or being in close proximity to.
The remaining above ground floors all consist of an expansive network of hallways and stairwells, which have been fully mapped out, and furthermore the sum interior space is larger than possible when referenced to the exterior of the building. Persons on these levels feel constant dread, and feel the need to ensure any doors within sight are locked.
The first basement level consists of purely utilty items, including a furnace, various appliances, a backup generator, et cetera. All persons within the room feel compulsions to fuel and light the furnance if it is not lit, and are extremely fearful if it is not. Persons on the ground floor also experience this compulsion. The compulsion is not strong enough to push most to violence or self immolation, but those with a low memetic resistance rating may do so.
The two basement levels below are not to be entered under any circumstances, and the titanium alloy trapdoor of the stairwell leading to them is to be locked at all times. Any damage to the trapdoor is to be repaired immediately.
Each door in the system of hallways above the ground level is to remain locked, as the contents of each room consist of high level spatial anomalies, with a ██% return and/or survival rate of persons entering the rooms, and the chance of anomalous entities exiting the rooms brings too high of a risk to experimentation.
