Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5311 is to be kept in a glass case in the living quarters of Dr.█████, a researcher stationed to monitor containment area 25b suffering from obesity, and trained in traditional martial arts.
Description: SCP-5311-a is a 110 centimeter long sword of unknown origin, it appears to be made of obsidian, but does not show and signs of breaking under pressure exceeding 1000 pounds per square inch. When an individual that grab SCP-5311 by the hilt are to be referred to as SCP-5311-b, until they cease contact with SCP-5311-a. SCP-5411-a causes individuals to have a surge of strength, reflexes, mental facility's, and metabolism, and this effect lasts until approximately 10 seconds after an individual ceases contact with SCP 5311-a. SCP-5311-b will typically express surprise upon first contact, but will immediately begin experiencing potently fatal side effects. SCP-5311-b will begin losing weight at a rate of 1 pound per minute regardless of physical activity level, and any attempts to stop this have failed, and the subject can die of starvation if contact does not cease.
Addendum: After incident 5311-1 and requests from SCP-076 containment staff SCP-5311 is to be reclassified from safe to Thaumiel, and kept as an alternative option of containing SCP-076. SCP-5311-a is to be transported and contained only by Dr.█████, who must weigh in at 250 pounds two weeks after using SCP-5311-1, or be deemed, "Unfit for work" and reassigned to a different site.
