Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Threat Level: ⚪ White
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX instances are to be kept in a 35 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm container fitted with standard glass. The container should be exposed to a light source producing at least 1000 lumens continuously.
Every writing or image produced by an instance of SCP-XXXX is to be photographed and recorded in a document within 12 days. All instances of SCP-XXXX has agreed to generate written media only on sheets of paper provided by foundation personnel.
If an instance of SCP-XXXX reproduces, the specimen is to be taken in by foundation personnel, where it would be studied and later placed with other instances of SCP-XXXX. A second container is to be built if no more instances of SCP-XXXX can fit in the current one. Experimentation involving any instances of SCP-XXXX is restricted to personnel below Level 2 security clearance.
All information regarding SCP-XXXX-A is allowed only for personnel with Level 3 security clearance and above.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a sapient species closely related to Gonium. SCP-XXXX instances always has 6 cells, each measuring to be approximately 3 cm in diameter, with the colony in the formation of a triangle. Each one of SCP-XXXX’s cells contains two equal flagella and a tripartite boundary surrounding singular cells. The boundary surrounding all cells of SCP-XXXX is a gelatinous, clear substance currently unidentified.
SCP-XXXX instances have shown the ability to move throughout the air, by moving flagella to "swim" throughout the air in a rotating motion. Research on how SCP-XXXX is capable of this locomotion is currently ongoing. Each specimen is only able to reproduce asexually. SCP-XXXX gains nourishment through the process of photosynthesis using a light source of 1000 lumens or higher. If any instance of SCP-XXXX does not receive said requirements within 15-16 hours, the instance will expire.
Instances of SCP-XXXX communicate by spontaneously generating written text or images on any flat surface. This written media is written in a non-anomalous ink substance, usually of black coloration. The maximum range of spontaneous generation is around 3 m. All instances of SCP-XXXX partially understand English and were able to translate some characters and words in SCP-XXXX’s language.
SCP-XXXX instances are believed to be extraterrestrial in origin.
RECOVERY OF SCP-XXXX INSTANCES
DISCOVERY: Both SCP-XXXX-01 and SCP-XXXX-02 were recovered in █████████, USA, after reports of written media spontaneous generating within homes and on roads, walls, and windows. Upon investigations of MTF Pi-1 ("City Slickers"), it was later discovered that the anomalous behaviors of the town were responsible due to SCP-XXXX-01 and SCP-XXXX-02.
After recovery, SCP-XXXX-02 revealed that both instances arrived at Earth by the uses of two spherical shuttle-like vehicles capable of FTL technology. Both vehicles are yet to be recovered.
DISCOVERY OF SCP-XXXX-A: Continuous interviews with instances of SCP-XXXX regarding their species and their arrival to Earth has revealed the existence of an anomalous construct designated SCP-XXXX-A. Any information regarding the construct is restricted from personnel who do not have Level 3 security clearance or above.
Item #: SCP-XXXX-A
Object Class: Euclid
Threat Level: ● Orange
Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-XXXX-A’s distance from Earth, it is yet to be fully contained. Site-341 is to monitor SCP-XXXX-A through the uses of Space Telescope TCNT-96. SCP-XXXX-A is to be monitored for any movements, all of which is to be recorded.
In the event SCP-XXXX-B escapes from SCP-XXXX-A, MTF Elipson-34 (Oracles of the Oort) are to engage Protocol-93 Giyas.
Protocol-93 Giyas: Site-341 must launch all backup generators and prepare to launch a single Omicron-Class laser (see Document XXXX-A.1), designed for the neutralization of SCP-XXXX-B, from the NTE-89 satellite towards SCP-XXXX-B's direction. All observations of SCP-XXXX-B must be made through Space Telescope TCNT-96, with the infrared filter activated, to avoid SCP-XXXX-B supposed cognitohazardous effects.
Due to the power an Omicron-Class laser uses, Site-341 is to remain using the backup generators for an estimated time of 23 to 43 days after the launching of an Omicron-Class laser.
Description: SCP-XXXX-A is a large, mostly electronic construct currently located within the inner regions of the Oort Cloud. The structure is in the shape of an icosahedron, 45 km in diameter and with 4 km sized “needle-like” structures extending from each vertex. The structure is in a black coloration and has a reflective surface. On one of the faces of SCP-XXXX-A, is a circular entryway measuring around 4 km in diameter. The entryway to SCP-XXXX-A is currently closed, however, can be opened by hacking into the main interface of SCP-XXXX-A.
Given SCP-XXXX-A's location, the construct does not orbit the sun.
Through investigations by the use of SCP-████, it was discovered SCP-XXXX-A is capable of movements and has currently traveled a distance of 3 km. Such movements are rare and short-lived, with SCP-XXXX-A making speeds of around 143 m/s. So far, the cause of this locomotion along with its power source has yet to be found.
SCP-XXXX-B is a large entity currently contained within SCP-XXXX-A. It is believed that SCP-XXXX-B is serpentine in shape, however, such claims are currently unconfirmed.
It is currently unknown if SCP-XXXX-B is sapient or not.

SCP-XXXX-A prior to containment.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe (SCP-XXXX-C is considered neutralized)
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B are to be kept in separate standardized item containment lockers, having a minimum distance of 10 m apart from each other. The remaining pieces of SCP-XXXX-C are to remain inside a standard neutralized item container.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation of three anomalous components, assigned SCP-XXXX-A to SCP-XXXX-C.
SCP-XXXX-A is a Fairlight CMI digital synthesizer in fair condition. A small crack is present on SCP-XXXX-A's monitor, along with a thin layer of dust on the surface of SCP-XXXX-A's keyboard. This dust can be cleaned off with relative ease, however, reforms after approxiately 3 seconds. SCP-XXXX-A is able to be used like any other synthesizer, while the sampler portion is non-functioning.
SCP-XXXX-B is a Moog Etherwave theremin, with multiple markings and scratches on its surface. These markings do not affect SCP-XXXX-B’s playability and are only ~0.8 mm deep. Amounts of rust are present on the stand and reforms after 3 seconds if cleaned off, much like the dust on SCP-XXXX-A. Small spots of blue paint are also present on SCP-XXXX-B.
SCP-XXXX-C a day after recovery.
SCP-XXXX-C is a Hohner Multimonica in poor condition. Several samples of mildew are present on SCP-XXXX-C's surface, all of which do not match any known species. Since recovery, SCP-XXXX-C's condition deteriorates at an accelerated pace, with most deteriorations occurring on a bi-daily basis. Despite the rapidly deteriorating condition, SCP-XXXX-C still functions and can be operated like any other instrument.
SCP-XXXX-A, SCP-XXXX-B, and SCP-XXXX-C all share the same anomalous effect, occurring when one instrument is played within a 10 m radius of another. When this happens, the other instrument will begin spontaneous repairs, cleaning its surface of all marks and fixing any defects.
When SCP-XXXX-A, SCP-XXXX-B, and SCP-XXXX-C are all played together within 5 m of each other, instances will undergo a Cordis event. Once a Cordis event occurs, subjects operating the instances of SCP-XXXX will suddenly proceed to play a song; this song does not match any known and is believed to be an original composition. Subjects report no longer having control of their hands and begin to feel anxious. Heart rate of subjects is noted to increase, albeit at a small amount. This event lasts for ~3 minutes, before ending and reversing all anomalous changes.
Addendum.01: On 10/6/2009, a Cordis event was performed with approval by the main lead of SCP-XXXX experimentation. After a minute into testing, researchers noticed a large increase in subjects' heart rates, surpassing the average amount for Cordis events. Subjects' stress levels began to rise drastically and began to operate SCP-XXXX instances at a faster rate.
At 12:49 hours EST, subjects continued operation of instances, despite exceeding the usual length of previous Cordis events. At 12:51 hours EST, a male human corpse spontaneously manifested inside the containment chamber holding the Cordis event. Upon manifestation, subjects abruptly stopped playing and went into cardiac arrest.
While this happens, multiple fractures grew upon SCP-XXXX-C's surface, eventually leading to SCP-XXXX-C falling apart into multiple pieces. Staff present immediately alerted medical attention, who after numerous attempts at CPR, were able to recover the subjects operating SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B. The operator for SCP-XXXX-C was pronounced deceased.
A minute after manifestation, the corpse present spontaneously disappeared, leaving a large pile of dust in its place. The corpse has been identified as Steven Ross, a musician who went missing on 10/6/2008.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to SCP-XXXX’s classification as a celestial body, physical containment is impossible.
All of SCP-XXXX's transmissions are to be recorded using radio emission detection technology from Foundation spacecraft located within a 1000 km radius.
All deep space programs with access to high-powered telescopes are to be monitored in case of discovery of SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties. Said space programs are to have personnel from Task Force Omicron-459 ("The Forever Listening Audience") stationed, with specific personnel assignments based on the size of the program.
Containment Update as of 5/23/████: All communications with SCP-XXXX are discontinued until further notice (See Addendum XXXX-2). Research on the HYMN-ᛈ Event is ongoing.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the Engraved Hourglass Nebula, a planetary nebula located in the southern constellation Musca, ~8,000 light years from Earth. After the events of Exploration XXXX-ᚻ, it was discovered that SCP-XXXX displays a high degree of sapience.
Like most nebulae, SCP-XXXX is composed of dust, hydrogen, helium, and other ionized gases. Through investigations using SCP-████, it was discovered that SCP-XXXX also contains small amounts of cellular biological matter, with DNA matching being inconclusive.
SCP-XXXX emits various high strength radio emissions, that when converted into sound waves are in the form of different songs. Such songs follow basic rhythm, melody, dynamics, and other elements of music. Time signatures of many compositions are irregular, SCP-XXXX has confirmed it is the composer of these songs, yet it is unknown how they are produced. Songs produced by SCP-XXXX can be repeated. Compositions usually have an irregular type of genre, not matching any known on Earth (See Addendum XXXX-3). No vocals are featured in any of SCP-XXXX's compositions.
Author note: include this in Addendum log thing An example of one of SCP-XXXX's songs, taken on 5/20/████.
Addendum XXXX-: On 5/6/████, an exploration (referred to as Exploration XXXX-ᚻ) was launched by TF Omicron-459 to study the anomalous properties and nature of SCP-XXXX. As per standard procedure for lengthy space travel, crew members were in cryogenic status until arrival.

SPACECRAFT INFORMATION
Foundation Spacecraft: SCPS NJƎ-Omne
Spacecraft Size: 150m length x 50m width
Crew Members: Captain Krystine Jane (Team Lead), Allyssa Ortolani (Technology Specialist), Edmund Grey (Biologist), and Ivan Cornelius (Physicist).
Spacecraft Details: SCPS NJƎ-Omne is an experimental Foundation-made spacecraft, incorporating modified Temporal Sink technology featured in the Peregrine-9 Expedition of SCP-3200.
Several radio emission detection devices were present onboard the spacecraft, as well as Foundation Space Probe-0127—operated by Allyssa Ortolani—for uses of collecting physical samples. SCPS NJƎ-Omne also harbors various automatic recording devices used to transcript SCP-XXXX transmissions.
Below is a brief log of notable events during Exploration XXXX-ᚻ. For the full report, see Document XXXX-ᚻ.
5/8/████, 0197 EST: TF Omicron-459 arrives at the predetermined destination, ~138 km away from SCP-XXXX. Crew members emerge from cryogenic status and prepare equipment for study. SCP-XXXX is playing a previously recorded composition.
5/8/████, 0265 EST: Doctors Edmund Grey and Ivan Cornelius begin chemical testing via extractions from Foundation Space Probe-0127. Analysis of chemical samples reveal a significant increase in cellular biological matter, as well as the presence of keratinocytes and chitin. It should be noted that Allyssa Ortolani reportedly saw SCP-XXXX’s “eye” directed towards SCPS NJƎ-Omne.
5/8/████, 0813 EST: A composition by SCP-XXXX featured various instruments with
5/8/████, 1059 EST: SCP-XXXX transmits a song with strong similarities to “Echoes” by Pink Floyd. Ortolani, who was operating emission detecting and translating technology, stated “Echoes” being one of her favorite songs.
5/8/████, 0371 EST:
Upon MTF Omicron-459's arrival, crew members emerged from cryogenic status.
Radio emission detection technology was active, receiving a composition from SCP-XXXX recorded previously before the events of exploration.
Doctors Edmund Grey and Ivan Cornelius, after setting up equipment, began chemical testing of SCP-XXXX.
During testing, it was discovered that the amount of biological matter increased since previous testing.
While using Foundation Space Probe-0127 to collect physical samples, Allyssa Ortolani reported seeing SCP-XXXX's "eye" directed at them.
On day two, Allyssa Ortolani, who was managing the radio emission in the main control room at the time, noticed one of the compositions having somewhat of a similar beat to 'Shine on You Crazy Diamond' by the rock band Pink Floyd.
It should be noted that Allyssa Ortolani had somewhat of an experience in music theory, and that "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" was one of her favorite songs.
On day three at approximately 0436 EST, a composition was received that matched the song, 'Made in Heaven', by the artist Queen. It was noticed that 'Made in Heaven' was the favorite song of Captain Krystine Jane.
The composition lasted for approximately two hours, with the vocals replaced by a synthesized instrument. The next composition received matched 'Gymnopédies', three piano compositions by French composer Erik Satie.
These were the favorite songs of Ivan Cornelius. The process repeated, following the favorite songs of the two other crew members being played.
At around 1245 EST, MTF Omicron-459 received a radio emission in the form of a series of binary text, that when converted into words said, "Thank you for an audience."
Addendum XXXX-2: The following is a log of notable events of
Addendum XXXX-3: On 6/24/████, Spacecraft FSC-607 was launched into close proximity with SCP-XXXX for the purpose of easier communication. By translating human speech into binary text and broadcasting that in the form of radio emissions, researchers were able to contact SCP-XXXX and establish communication.
On 5/22/████, after an interview with SCP-XXXX by Doctor Peter Bouvier, a composition was received that matched the genre of jazz, Dr. Bouvier's favorite genre of song. Following the event, SCP-XXXX's compositions began to use various genres that matched ones on Earth and used the corresponding instruments. SCP-XXXX also began to show an understanding of humanity as a whole, such as human nature, history, and other fields of knowledge.
After more thorough investigations into the physical properties of SCP-XXXX, it was confirmed that the biological matter inside has increased since discovery. By use of SCP-████, Foundation researchers noticed that the drastic increases occurred most throughout interactions with SCP-XXXX. Due to concerns of the increases of biological matter and SCP-XXXX's growing knowledge on humanity, communications with SCP-XXXX have been ceased.
Addendum XXXX-4: On 6/02/████, SCP-XXXX ceased emission of radio signals for approximately 32 minutes. It was observed that the central star of SCP-XXXX slowly began to cool down, as the shell of hydrogen surrounding SCP-XXXX became exhausted through fusion and mass loss. It is believed that the star of SCP-XXXX will soon cease fusion reactions, indicating the final stages a planetary nebula takes until becoming a white dwarf.
This death process is believed to be natural, given for the short life of planetary nebula. The process of SCP-XXXX's death has been designated the HYMN-ᛈ Event. While it has been widely accepted that the gas clouds of SCP-XXXX will spread apart and dissipate when becoming a white dwarf, it is unknown what will happen to the amounts of biological matter, the musical properties of SCP-XXXX, and SCP-XXXX's sapience along with its self-awareness after death.
On 6/09/████, a radio emission from SCP-XXXX was detected. Rather in the form of a composition, this emission was in the form of a series of binary numbers. When converted to English, the following message was received.
Hello?
Are you there?
Did I do something wrong?
Do you no longer enjoy my music?

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Threat Level: Red
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be monitored continuously by Automated Bot TES-51 through uses of Space Telescope AMST-105. Any changes or a TRAPPIST event are to be recorded.
If a TRAPPIST event has been detected, Automated Bot TES-51 is to alert MTF ♃-01 ("beginning."). MTF ♃-01 is to activate the SRAs located on RING POINT-7, a Foundation-made construct located near SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation for the binary star system, HD ████████. The two stars in the system have been designated SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B.
At seemingly random intervals, the SCP-XXXX system undergoes a TRAPPIST event.
During a TRAPPIST event, the SCP-XXXX system's Hume levels begin to fluctuate. SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B will increase speed by 64%, and an object, designated SCP-XXXX-C, will spontaneously manifest within the barycenter of the system.
SCP-XXXX-C instances vary between each TRAPPIST event, however, instances can reoccur. Previously, SCP-XXXX-C has manifested as a gas planet measuring approximately 23,000 km, an entire galaxy with the size decreased to 19,000 km in diameter, and [DATA EXPUNGED], all having varying Hume levels. The most common variation is a terrestrial planet measuring approximately 13,000 km (designated SCP-XXXX-C1). SCP-XXXX-C instances last between 4-37 days, depending on the instance.
Once an SCP-XXXX-C instance is manifested both SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B begin to alter the instance in
SCP-XXXX-C Instance |
Description |
Additional Notes |
SCP-XXXX-C1 |
Object is a terrestrial planet measuring 13,000 km in diameter. Upon further investigations through uses of SCP-████, it was learned that repeated copies of Foundation sites and areas cover 94% of the land mass of the planet. Each Foundation building was in a state of disarray and had multiple burn marks present. Some buildings are fused together. All water on SCP-XXXX-C1 is absent. |
Each Foundation building all had varying Hume levels, suggesting that they all originated from separate realities. |
Addendum 00-NULL: The following is a transcript of a TRAPPIST event. The electromagnetic waves present have been converted into audio waves.
An ambient sound resembling that of wind is present in the background. Static is also present.
Ten minutes into the recording, laughter can be heard in SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B's general area.
//The laughing persists and becomes louder. As the laughter continues, Both SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-B move closer to towards SCP-XXXX-C1, and begin to cause large amounts of damage, by changing the planet's size and shape, altering Hume levels, and //
The damages to SCP-XXXX-C1 are reverted through anomalous means, however, after the repair, the process is repeated.
This lasts for three more hours, after which SCP-XXXX-C1 dematerialized.
Incident 01-IO: Before the current containment procedures were implemented, a TRAPPIST event occurred, however, while
