Item # SCP-4343

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-4343 is placed in a fully concrete enclosure, secured with chains that are to be drilled 10 cm into the floor. 4 security cameras are to be placed in the corners of the enclosure. Anyone attempting to get into the containment chamber without approval will need to be immediately detained.

Description:
SCP-4343 is a metal, rubber covered, grated table, normally found in high schools. SCP-4343 weighs 114 kg, and available surface area is about 2 m2. The tables molecular structure was analyzed, showing that the entire table is made from negative ions. Three authorizations from level 4+ are required to allow any personnel, including D Class, to sit on the table. When someone or something sits on the table, SCP-4343 makes the object “younger”, at the cost of some of the molecules that are turning younger, to lose some of their electrons, making them negative ions. This process is extremely painful to any animal that sits on SCP-4343, supposedly because of the molecular degradation and negative ionization of the subject’s atoms.

Experiment SCP-4343-1:
D-1256 is a tall, slender male that has no special attributes, and is 26 years of age. D-1256 is told to sit at the table and wait for approximately 5 minutes. D-1256 does what he is told to do and complies completely. D-1256 sits on the table, and immediately starts to lose his height, and facial hair seems to disappear back into the hair follicles. D-1256 yells out in pain and starts to get up from his seat and control asks him to keep sitting down. The subject doesn’t comply and immediately falls on the floor beside SCP-4343 and doesn’t move.

Test Concluded

It is concluded that D-1256 fell unconscious after getting off SCP-4343. Dr.██████ collects blood and tissue samples from the subject and dates them. D-1256’s body and mind are now of 15 years of age. After recovering for 12 hours, D-1256 states that he doesn’t remember where he is. When asked, D-1256 states that he also doesn’t remember the crime he committed to be brought to Site-██. D-1256 says that he doesn’t remember the experience at all, but is still being treated as a D-Class, contained in Facility-███. Recent reports say that D-1256 is aging normally, but has developed several types of cancer and other syndromes that are threatening his life. The tissue and blood samples support the hypothesis that the electrons stripped off from the molecules in his body, through unknown means. The subject was only on SCP-4343 for 8 seconds.

Experiment SCP-3932-2:
Subject D-3028 is an average height average build female with short blonde hair, age 29. D-3028 is instructed to sit at SCP-4343, the subject complies and sits at SCP-4343. Two guards strap D-3028 to SCP-4343 with 3 millimeter thick zip ties. With D-3028 strapped to SCP-3932, the test begins. 5 seconds after sitting down, noticeable changes in the appearance of D-3028 are visible. The subject’s hair starts to recede, and feminine features start to disappear. D-3028 screams and tries to break out of the straps and flails herself around, attempting to break free. After 8 seconds, the subject has lost all her hair and has started to shrink in body mass. 12 seconds after sitting at SCP-3932, D-3028 is bald and appears to be 5-10 years old. The subject slides her now skinnier wrists and legs out of the straps and gets off SCP-4343.

Test Concluded

D-3028 died of a stroke 4 minutes after the test. After dissecting the subject’s brain, the cause of death was determined to be many blockages in veins and arteries all through the subject’s body. These blockages were made of highly mutated blood cells. The cells had grown to 1█x their normal size, effectively blocking many veins and arteries off from circulation. Almost 22% of all atoms in the subject’s body were negative ions, making her appearance barely recognizable, besides the small humanoid shape. All testing with SCP-4343 must now be authorized by three level 4 personnel.
