The pale mother

Item #: SCP-5392

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5392 is to be kept in an airtight 10m x 7m x 10m alloy steel cell. The temperature in the cell must be between 0-32 degrees Fahrenheit and to be routinely filled with carbon dioxide every 4-6 days. The walls of the cell are 7m thick and the cell is to be kept quiet at all times. Pressure sensors must be used to monitor SCP-5392 due to its inability to be seen in screens or on reflections and its unique temporal capabilities. 2-4 personnel are to enter to feed SCP-5392 under all circumstances and are to use white noise to disguise cacophony.

Description: SCP-5392 is a humanoid female creature approximately 3.06 meters tall with long arms stretching its entire body length and legs 0.96 meters tall. Despite being humanoid SCP-5392 shows no signs of human intelligence or speech, only mumbling unrecognizable language in raspy utterance. SCP-5392 has long, silky, black hair and its epidermis is completely gray in color. Origins of this creature are still unknown.

SCP-5392 was found by Dr.█ in a small countryside village known as ██ in Atulcha, Bolivia. SCP-5392 normally shows the muscle mass of a developed human female except for its large torso region, which looks as if SCP-5392 is gravid. SCP-5392 does not need to eat or drink if fed 4-5mm of human saliva every 4-6 days.

If SCP-5392 is not fed between the given time, it can change its shape, facial structure, and diameter up to 8.92 meters tall to lure prey into the cell or escape confinement. No matter what shape it morphs into it never transmutes its ivory corneas. The oculus themselves are completely faulty, leading to SCP-5392 using an echolocation-type technique to find prey.

SCP-5392‘s victims are almost always children to the ages of 4-7. The attack technique of SCP-5392 is to use its echolocation, smell, and temporal capabilities to isolate 1-2 children. It then uses its long arms to pin the victims down and claw out their tongue. It opens its torso region to reveal a jagged teeth-filled mouth inside her stomach region. From the deformed oral cavity it then excretes a long, straw-like tongue and inserts it inside the victim’s esophagus, feeding on their bodily fluids.

SCP-5392‘s mortality rate is %100, although strangely it shows no memory of any carnage it has induced. SCP-5392 can run up to 13km per hour, and is known to kill any living witness to feedings, even ravaging her cell to fragments in incident 5392-1-A, leading to 18 faculty deaths.

If SCP-5392 is killed, a complete replica of the creature will be excreted out of the stomach orifice, making it impossible to eliminate, as shown in experiment 5392-6-A and 5392-6-AB-D. This is how the creature earned its documented byname, the pale mother.

Addendum: In experiment 5392-6-A, SCP-5392 was exposed to SCP-409 for elimination. However, once SCP-5392‘s body was fully crystallized, it shot out its jagged tongue from its abdomen and excreted a replica of itself before the tongue was fully crystallized, strengthening the theory of this creature’s indestructibility.

In experiment 5392-6-AB-D, SCP-5392 was exposed to SCP-001 as to completely eradicate the creature. The creature was annihilated by the flames and was almost immediately transmuted fully into ashes. However, when returning to the facility, SCP-5392 was found back in its cell unharmed.

There have been only 2 real outbreaks where SCP-5392 has escaped and caused a threat, the most famous being incident 5392-1-A. When first catching the creature, Dr. █ witnessed SCP-5392 attacking a group of neighboring children. When he returned to the facility with the creature and put it in its cell, it seemed to be visibly shaking and excreting a red liquid from all of its orifices, mainly in the oculus region. For the next 6 days SCP-5392 remained in this docile state, refusing to eat, sleep, or move. On the night of the sixth day SCP-5392 began banging on the walls of the cell door. When personnel entered, they found SCP-5392 had doubled in size and had mutated limbs and orifices all over itself, with the room covered in red liquid. SCP-5392 Burst into a fit of rage any killed all personnel in the cell. Before the doctor could be eliminated by the creature it was recontained in its cell. The next morning SCP-5392 was standing in the corner of the cell laughing wickedly. When staff entered, SCP-5392, was back to its normal state and the liquid was completely evaporated back into its orifices. When checking on Dr. █ he was nowhere to be found. When questioned, SCP-5392 claimed she had no memory of the attack. Further testing proved her statement was true, leading to personal moving SCP-5392 to site 16, district 4.
