Special Containment Procedures: Under no circumstances is SCP-XXXX to be activated without formal approval from at least one member of site command and while under instruction from at least two head research officers currently assigned to SCP-XXXX. Testing involving the activation of SCP-XXXX with the intent of allowing SCP-XXXX-3 to emerge is prohibited, unless approved by O5 council. The containment room of SCP-XXXX should be surrounded by a continuous and unbroken four layered Faraday shield, no potential electrical power sources (e.g. batteries or running electric generators) should be allowed in the containment room. No light source greater then 700 lm should be used while examining SCP-XXXX, in addition any extraneous electrical devices or EM wave emitting devices should be left outside the containment area unless required for testing purposes. Double door passages to the containment room should be mechanically locked and must be manned by at least two armed guards at all times. Dimensions of the containment room should be approximately 30 m by 30 m by 40 m in size, allowing space to both fit SCP-XXXX and to allow adequate space for research and experimentation.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an approximately 10 m by 10 m by 20 m machine resembling a large hollowed out electric turbine. Weighing about three to four tons SCP-XXXX is composed off inter-laying metal cylinders and complex electrical wiring both on the inside and outside. On the outside is an unlabeled control panel composed of at least 40 different buttons, switches and gauges. On the same control panel are two electrodes meant to provide power to SCP-XXXX. Suspended by kinetic chains inside the center of SCP-XXXX is a bulb shaped device made from electrical components ranging between standard house inlay wiring, warped boards of vacuum tubes, and coils made from a range of different alloys, this has been designated SCP-XXXX-1.

Reaching SCP-XXXX-1 has proven difficult, any organism with a nervous system that comes into close contact with SCP-XXXX-1 is killed within secondsdeath being associated with the nervous system and surrounding tissue being reduced to a gel of its original biological components. The cause of this being not entirely known, but having been associated with complex forms of electromagnetic and gamma radiation localized two meters around SCP-XXXX-1, but not otherwise escaping said radius. There is a notable difference between the effects of SCP-XXXX-1 on the human nervous system and other invertebrates, upon being exposed to SCP-XXXX-1 the human brain and nervous system [REDACTED] followed by involuntary orgasm and [REDACTED], resulting in major brain hemorrhage and death. Exposure of at least half a second results in the described above while exposure greater then one and a quarter second results in both the described above and the same gelling of the nervous system and surrounding tissue. The effects show no major variation between age or gender.

When electrically powered by any alternating or direct current source greater then ████ Watts, the main properties of SCP-XXXX will begin to manifest. Their are two separately manifested properties of SCP-XXXX upon activation, labeled as SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3.

Within a radius of at least 300m and retracting depending on the power supplied to SCP-XXXX, the EM wave SCP-XXXX-2 will be emitted from SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX-2 has a frequency range and pattern similar to human brain waves but differentiating in overall intensity and evolutionary pattern of the waveform.¹ Humans exposed to SCP-XXXX-2 at high enough intensities will slowly lose normal consciousnesses and enter a trance-like state. At this point there are three currently observed states of activity that individuals exposed to SCP-XXXX-2 may engage while under its influence, designated State-01 to State-03. After █ to ██ minutes of exposure individuals may possibly engage in either State-01 or State-02.

State-01 is engaged in the case that there are no humans or other animals within sight of exposed individuals, if such is the case then the individual will enter a vegetative state and remain so until seeing a human or animal. In the case that a human or animal is within sight of exposed individuals then said individuals will enter State-02 where they will immediately attempt to engage in sexual intercourse with the human or animal within sight, after completion said individual may then renter State-01 or State-02.² If the individual is within sight of SCP-XXXX and has completed sexual intercourse while in state 2 then they will immediately enter State-03, State-03 subjects will attempt to smear any fluids generated during sexual intercourse onto the outside hull of SCP-XXXX, after doing so subjects may then either enter State-01 or State-02.

Upon deactivating SCP-XXXX, dispersion of SCP-XXXX-2 will cease and all individuals will fall unconsciousness for a period lasting at least one hour. Upon waking from this state individuals report not having any memory of the events occurring during SCP-XXXX-2 exposure, though they will claim to have had hallucinatory nightmares of a nature seemingly related to SCP-XXXX phenomena.

The nature of SCP-XXXX-3 is localized to the internal structure of SCP-XXXX during activation. After approximately three hours of continuous activation SCP-XXXX-3 will gradually emerge head first out of the open mouth of SCP-XXXX. If SCP-XXXX is deactivated at any point during this process, SCP-XXXX-3 will immediately vanish, leaving no physical trace of its existence. The appearance of SCP-XXXX-3 is that of an otherwise unidentified humanoid fetus of length and diameter similar to SCP-XXXX's internal cylinder. Beyond the morphological resemblance, the entity is semi-transparent with a luminous blue and green glow and surrounding aura, the shape of SCP-XXXX-3 appears to change regularly with time and with most emphasis being on its facial features. The rate of emergence is approximately 50 cm every █ seconds. When an emergence equivalent to █ m in length has occurred the manifestation of [REDACTED]. In addition seismic activity measuring 3.2 to ███ on the Richter scale will begin to manifest, no testing or experimentation has occurred beyond this point. No phenomena related to SCP-XXXX is understood or known beyond this point.

SCP-XXXX was originally retrieved from █████████, ███████ in Central Europe near the abandoned University of ███████ in an off campus basement warehouse surrounded by woodland. Original discovery of SCP-XXXX's existence resulted after an investigation into a series of murders and disappearances from the surrounding residential area by local law enforcement. An as yet undiscovered religious group who referred to themselves as the ███████ of the ██████ was eventually linked to these murders, and eventually associated with the University of ███████, leading to the discovery SCP-XXXX and it's anomoulus properties. Due to the violent nature of the group a mobile task force was sent in to confiscate SCP-XXXX.

During the retrieval all members of the ███████ of the ██████ where either killed in fire fights with the task force or committed some form of ritualized suicide shortly before task force arrival. At the site was found ten members of the group, and twelve corpses eventually identified as the original missing persons. A collection of related items besides SCP-XXXX was also recovered in relation to the group, including standard power generators and electrical equipment for powering large machinery, ritual implements, a collection of recently unknown esoteric documents, and incomplete schematics of SCP-XXXX.³

Addendum XXXX-1: Recently approved testing has demonstrated that the activity between SCP-XXXX-2 and SCP-XXXX-3 is not dependent on each other as far as SCP-XXXX-2 effects on human populations are concerned. SCP-XXXX-3's manifestation will occur independently of effected humans being present or not.⁴

Addendum XXXX-2: Practical use of SCP-XXXX-2's temporary effects on reproductive capacity have been approved for D-class personnel in related testing but suspended for any other purposes not otherwise approved.

2. All humans exposed to SCP-XXXX-2 become sexually sterile, and sterility remains for a period of time after exposure ranging from a few days to several months, increasing with proximity to SCP-XXXX during exposure.

3. It is not believed that the group ███████ of the ██████ were the original creators of SCP-XXXX, though the point of origin is suspected to be the University of ███████. Evidence for this includes mechanical manufacturing equipment found around the campus that may have been used in SCP-XXXX's construction but appear to have been untouched for decades, along with the existence of otherwise incomplete schematics of SCP-XXXX by the group.

4. A hypothesis involving the original intention behind SCP-XXXX's construction has been put foward, being that SCP-XXXX-3's manifestation is the intended purpose of SCP-XXXX, with SCP-XXXX-2 only being a side effect of this process.
