Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be placed in a 5 yd by 5 yd room of concrete. It is to be fed a human-like item, so long as it has the same organs (heart, lungs, skin, etc.) every 3 days. Under no circumstances should it be allowed outside of its room. Only when sedated or wearing armor may someone enter the room.

Description: SCP-XXXX is extremely similar to SCP-999, with similarities such as a playful attitude, size, and even chemical composition. The only differences between the two are color (SCP-XXXX is red) and personality.

The approach with SCP-XXXX is exactly the same as SCP-999. It acts playful as a lure for food. Once a subject touches the SCP, it will start to climb up the subject's limb, onto the body, and start dissolving the [DATA EXPUNGED]. It is assumed this is how the organism eats, and never produces any waste.

However, the process of killing its meal is quick, it can be subdued by listening to music. While classical music works best, nothing can stop it. It can only impede it's process. This also seems to relax it, too. It calms down, and will seem to sleep. However, when someone enters the room, it will immediately "awake" the second the person steps into the room.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX was found in █████, Illinois. However, trace amounts of DNA have found that it has been throughout the continent, just at different times. Studies have yet to continue.
