Concept/name: The Infini-mutt
Object class: safe
Containment procedure: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 3 x 3 meter dog pen in a light containment cell. Assorted pet toys are to be provided and cycled every 6 hours. Subject is to be monitored 12 hours a day, is to have its cell/playpen cleaned each day. SCP-XXXX absolutely MUST be fed twice a day, once in the morning, and once in the evening. This is so that it doesn't starve to death. All personnel are allowed, and even advised, to make contact with SCP-XXXX during free time. Playpen MUST be baby proofed. All hazardous, dangerous, or sharp/ pointed material MUST be removed from the subject's pen. Bodies left by SCP-XXXX (usually it's own) have to be disposed of by incineration, so as to prevent stress of visitors, and to prevent further cloning.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a golden retriever puppy, with an age appearance of about 2/3 months. It appears to have a fixed age, and apparently to Dr.■■■, the subject hasnt changed in the 5 years that he has worked with the foundation. Its teeth are a clean white, incisors are perfect, and its fur is a silky, golden yellow. The only unusual feature is the deep, jade green color of its eyes. Other than that abnormality, SCP-XXXX is an energetic, [DATA EXPUNGED] puppy.
Information: When looking into SCP-XXXX's eyes, foundation personnel claim to feel an overwhelming urge to hug the dog. Class D testing used when SCP-XXXX was first brought into containment resulted in the tester cuddling the puppy to his chest, and sitting in the same place for around 3 hours before he was removed. SCP-XXXX's most unusual property is its hydra-like ability to multiply through death. This was first discovered when an ■■■■ man found the original puppy in a cardboard box beside a road in ■■■■■■. When walking to his front porch, he looked into SCP-XXXX's eyes, and was still staring at the dog when he hit the front steps. This caused him to trip and drop the puppy, resulting in it breaking its neck when it hit the ground. The man, grief-stricken, was cradling the body when he heard a noise behind him, he turned to find two identical puppies, both looking at him, wagging their tails. He then contacted the local police, and the foundation agents planted in the law enforcement took them in. They also took the body, for ■■■. Testing with multiple other SCPs resulted in several interesting results. SCP-999 got along quite well with SCP-XXXX, both yipping at each other and playing chase. The most interesting reaction came from SCP-049. When placed in the same room together, SCP-049 got extremely evasive and wary of the subject, requesting he be removed from the vicinity. When this was denied, it appeared to become extremely uncomfortable, ■■■ even. When SCP-XXXX approached SCP-049, it immediately began to back away, muttering about something. After SCP-049 was sent back to its containment zone, it was interviewed about its actions and it explained itself by claiming that SCP-XXXX was almost assuredly the source of its so-called "pestilence". Blood samples taken from the puppies show no sign of infection, disease, or sickness of any kind. Attempts to breed with other dogs unsuccessful; SCP-XXXX's fixed age is too young. In the past, foundation personnel were able to take a puppy home. This got out of hand, too many clones were made, and this resulted in the great puppy holocaust, where over ■■■ puppies were incinerated, to prevent cloning.
