Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in Research Site-76 in a standard containment and storage cell reserved for anomalous artifacts. Outside of testing, due to the inanimate nature of SCP-XXXX, the object’s containment unit is to be secured via an access card reader allowing Foundation staff of Level 2 clearance or higher. Outside of testing, no foundation staff is to be allowed inside SCP-XXXX’s containment chamber, and video surveillance is to always be present for testing documentation purposes as well as to ensure no unauthorized individuals attempt to make use of SCP-XXXX’s time-dilation properties. To ensure no foundation staff members or other individuals violate containment, SCP-XXXX Head Researcher Dr. S* is to hold a specially programmed key card that keeps the object’s chamber locked regardless of other staff member’s clearance levels. Other staff members Level 2 or higher can access SCP-XXXX’s chamber only when the Head researcher’s card first unlocks said chamber.
In the event of an unauthorized staff member or D-class personnel attempting to sit in SCP-XXXX’s seat, Foundation staff in the site are to be alerted of a breach in containment and an MTF is to be dispatched to the object’s containment cell. Said individual is to be apprehended and detained. Should the perpetrator succeed in using SCP-XXXX’s time-dilation properties, said MTF will be notified of the future date the perpetrator will manifest. The door to SCP-XXXX’s containment cell is to be locked until the unauthorized staff member manifests. Once manifestation has been achieved, the perpetrator is to then be apprehended and detained. The individual may be subject to termination.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a standard-issue city park swing set manufactured by the playground equipment company known as GameTime. The object
• SCP-XXXX is a standard-issue city park swing set, approximately 2.43 meters in height and built by the playground equipment manufacturer known as GameTime
• Discovered September 16, after a father of , Pennsylvania filed a police report of his 6-year-old son going missing/vanishing on the swing as he was taking a video during a day at the park while the child’s mother was at work.
• Through continuous testing, the cause of the disappearance of the child was discovered; upon swinging forward, SCP-XXXX causes a time-dilation effect upon the user or object in the seat. When this time-dilation effect takes place, the subject is transported a certain amount of time into the future, based on the size of the angle SCP-XXXX’s seat was from rest position. However, despite some attempts to send a subject in reverse, no notable events occurred. Should one stay seated in SCP-XXXX until the object returns to rest position, the subject may return to the present time without issue. However, should the subject eject themselves from SCP-XXXX’s seat, they will be unable to return to the time they came from, since the future they now reside in is now their new present. Should SCP-XXXX be moved from its original position, the subject undergoing time-dilation will be transported along with the seat of SCP-XXXX wherever SCP-XXXX may be situated in the future, not the location where the subject last went missing.
• The dilation is logarithmic, with the amount of time transported increasing exponentially to the tenth power every ten degrees from rest position. (10 degrees is ten seconds, 20 is 100, etc).

Addendum XXXX-01: (TELL THE STORY OF HOW IT WAS ACQUIRED AND HOW THE KID GOT TRANSPORTED BACK HOME FROM THE FACILITY AFTER APPEARING ON THE SEAT. THE CHILD WAS TESTED EXTENSIVELY TO ENSURE NO ANOMALOUS SIDE EFFECTS WERE UPON THE CHILD. THE FOUNDATION ALSO MONITORED POLICE ACTIVITY TO MAKE SURE THE COVER STORY WAS KEPT UP.)
Addendum XXXX-02: DESCRIBE THE VIDEO FOOTAGE OF THE CHILD APPEARING IN THE CONTAINMENT CHAMBER 4 MONTHS IN THE FUTURE AND BEING DETAINED AND AMNESTICIZED BY FOUNDATION STAFF.
Addendum XXXX-03: DESCRIBE THE INTERVIEW BETWEEN THE LEAD RESEARCHER AND THE INTERVIEWER. DESPITE INTERVIEWER’S QUESTIONS AND OBJECTIONS DIE TO THE POSSIBILITY THAT SUCH AN EVENT COULD INSTILL ANOMALOUS PROPERTIES UPON A HUMAN BEING, RESEARCHER WANTED THE CHILD RETURNED HOME BECAUSE SHE FELT SYMPATHY FOR THE FATHER. HER OWN CHILD HAD GONE MISSING BEFORE SHE JOINED THE FOUNDATION. THEY WERE NEVER FOUND.
