Special Containment Procedures: SCP- XXXX is located in a standard containment cell at site ██. Permission of 2 level-2 staff member is required for experimentation with SCP- XXXX. Any staff members that come into contact with SCP- XXXX are required to be well hydrated and have access to water at all times. Description:SCP-XXXX is an ornate glass bowl found in the ███████ desert

SCP-XXXX has an adverse mental effect on any observing it and has been classified as a cognitohazard. Those observing SCP-XXXX will begin to feel dehydrated. The intensity of the feeling will increase over time in the subject until they consume SCP-XXXX-01 or are removed from visual contact with SCP-XXXX. The compulsion to consume SCP-XXXX-01 is greater in subjects that were dehydrated before contact with SCP-XXXX.

When consumed by a humanoid SCP-XXXX-01 begins to alter the subjects DNA over a 24 hour period. In this time the immune system can slow or stop the progression of SCP-XXXX-01 see test log for more details. After the 24 hour period, the subject will either be rid of SCP-XXXX-01 or they become an incidence of SCP-XXXX-02. The subject's body starts to show signs of dehydration 10 hours after infection. This dehydration continues for the rest of the 24 hour period until the subject loses 92% of bodily fluids. These fluid are removed by unknown means. Bodily functions at this point stop resulting in the subject becomes unresponsive to all stimuli. At this point the subject it reclassified as an incidence of SCP-XXXX-02. SCP-XXXX-02 looks similar to a human corpse with all the fluids removed from it. At the point of its creation, it can speak intelligently and can recall its life as a human. Aqantences of SCP-XXXX-02 subjects can recognize them at this point. Subjects also show an increase in muscle strength and endurance. The subjects are unable to be killed by any means except disconnecting the brain stem from the spin.

SCP-XXXX-02 subjects report feeling "thirsty" when they regain concessions. SCP-XXXX-02 will begin to grow violent over a course of 3 hours, demanding that nearby personnel give them, "something to drink". In this state, SCP-XXXX-02 will drink any fluid containing water presented to it. If SCP-XXXX-02 is given water it will complain that it is, "to dry". Violent tendencies occur in subjects not given any water. After 3 days the subject will attack any humans it can detect. SCP- XXXX-02 will kill by severing the arteries by biting the neck. Foreword: The interview took place as soon as SCP-XXXX-02 gain awareness of its surroundings.
Dr.██████ and SCP-XXXX-02 are separated by bulletproof glass. SCP-XXXX-02 is given a microphone to speak. It should be noted that D-7564 had a poor relationship with Dr.██████.

Dr.██████ : Why are you here?

Dr.██████ : Sorry for the innocence David, but we need to run some tests on you, then you will get you water

SCP-XXXX-02: Tests on me? That's new. Usually, you guys study the freaks

Dr.██████ : Yes we do, now final question. Is there anything wrong with you?

[SCP-XXXX-02 contorts his face in something resembling confusion]

SCP-XXXX-02: Why nothing I just fainted is all.

Dr.██████ : Thank you, David. That is all

[Dr.██████ instructs the guards to take SCP-XXXX-02 back to its containment cell]

SCP-XXXX-02: But you said I would get water!

Dr.██████ : That was a lie

Closing Statement: After this SCP-XXXX-02 became violent and attacked the containment crew resulting in ██ casualties. SCP-XXXX-02 was successfully contained at site ██. SCP-XXXX-02 claims he did it because he wanted some, "God damned respect".

Test XXXX-A

Procedure: D-3629 is given a glass of SCP-XXXX-01 and asked how it tasted
Results: D- 3629 says that is "Tastes like water you [REDACTED]"
Analysis: SCP-XXXX-01 seems to be near identical to water in all ways except for the enzyme
Note: D-3629 began the transformation into SCP-XXXX-02 and was killed by research staff due to the fact that they where dealing with an unknown SCP.

Test XXXX-B

Procedure: D-7564 is given a cup of SCP-XXXX-01 without his knowledge. He was transported to a standard containment cell after showing signs of SCP-XXXX-02.
Results: D-7564 seemed to unaware of it's altered appearance and was knowledgable of himself during the first 2 days after exposer. After day 3 it became violent and attacked any humanoid exposed to it.
Analysis: It seems SCP-XXXX-02 doesn't expense metal decay instantly after transformation.

Test XXXX-C

Procedure: SCP-XXXX is placed in a room temperature room and placed in a 100-liter basion to measure production of SCP-XXXX-01. The researcher leave SCP-XXXX unintended over to weekend intending to measure the results of the test on Monday
Results: Over 10,000 liters of SCP-XXXX-01 is produced over this time flooding site ██ and causing 10 janitorial personnel to become incidences of SCP-XXXX-02 resulting in ███ staff casualties.
Analysis: SCP-XXXX seems to produce SCP-XXXX-01 at a fast rate than previously observed.
Note: The researcher responsible for this was disciplined and demoted.

Test XXXX-C

Procedure: SCP-XXXX-02 (previously known as D-7564) is exposed to D-4725 who was previously aquaintances with D-7564.
Results: D-4725 approaches SCP-XXXX-02 expressing empathy for SCP-XXXX-02 as if it was D-7564 was in. SCP-XXXX-02 attacks D-4725 who vocalizes surprise, and pain. D-4725 vocalizations stop after 12 seconds. SCP-XXXX-02 than [REDACTED]
Analysis: SCP-XXXX-02 seems to have no empathy for any precious acquaintances.
