Special Containment Procedures:

Item SCP-5539 is to be kept within a 1m x 1m x 1m stone box. If any personell are to open SCP-5539's containment, they are to be accompanied by either a level 4 personell, or be a level 4 personell. SCP-5539 may only be removed for testing purposes, as the current strength of the object is unknown.

Description: SCP-5539 appears to be a regular playing card. It is however, larger than the average playing card, with a 75mm width, and a 100mm length. The card does hold special properties, as when the card is flipped back and forth, the suit and number will change. The only portion that does not change to current knowledge, is the back design. The color of the back is a deep blue, and has white flower-like shapes scattered around it. SCP-5539 does not seem to possess dangerous properties. If SCP-5539 is damaged in any way, it shall turn into a blank white card, with no outlandish properties. The only way to repair the anomalous event is to place the card back into the box for over 72 hours, then when opened again, the card will appear as it was last left. If the card were to be destroyed beyond repair, it can be pulled from SCP-1162 by the user that destroyed the card.

Testing Log: The following log is of selected test(s) performed on SCP-5539.

Test-5539-A: SCP-5539 is held by D-█████ and is told to damage the card by folding it down the middle. D-█████ does as instructed, and the card is then blank on both sides. D-█████ is then told to consume the card. D-█████ does so. D-█████ then begins vomiting up blue liquid and white flowers.
