**SCP-XXXX “The Capsule Machine”*
Item #:SCP-XXXX
Class:Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept behind a sealed and sterile antechamber. The antechamber is to be monitored at all times. The door to the antechamber is to be secured with a remotely activated magnetic lock. The door of SCP-XXXX is to be shut and secured at all times when not in use.The antechamber is to be cleaned at least five times daily. All objects reserved for use with SCP-XXXX must be cleaned and sterilized prior to processing. No unauthorized objects are to be let inside of SCP-XXXX. Each individual capsule produced by SCP-XXXX is to be contained in its own dry, airtight container in a dry and cool environment.
Description: SCP-XXXX Is an empty 5x5x5 meter room. It is covered floor to ceiling in white porcelain tile. It has a single 76x198 cm door with an automatic magnetic lock. When any object(s) that can fit within SCP-XXXX is shut inside of it, the magnetic lock will trigger. SCP-XXXX will then produce a capsule for the individual object(s). The original object(s) will appear to have disappeared, and the capsule will appear in the middle of SCP-XXXX. The time required to complete this process depends on the object composition, object size, and number of objects. The capsule’s physical properties (size, color, mass, etc.) vary from object to object. Each capsule is marked with a certain number, which equals a measurement of liquid volume in milliliters. When immersed in water equal to the marked number in milliliters, the capsule will rapidly return to the form of its respective object. These capsules are instances of SCP-XXXX and are to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-2, and so on. Some resemble known drugs in capsule form, complete with company marking.

Experiment Log
Date: 3/16/██████
Researchers: Dr.G████ and Dr.J████████, henceforth referred to as Dr.G and Dr.J respectively.
Summary: Dr.G and Dr.J test the effects of SCP-XXXX’s processing on living organisms, in this case, D-184375.
Begin Log
14:40—(Dr.G, Dr.J, and D-184375, a 202 cm tall D-Class hispanic male, enter the antechamber. All preparations had been taken before log. Dr.J removes D-184375’s restraints. Dr.G opens the door to SCP-XXXX.)
Dr.G: D-184375, please enter SCP-XXXX.
D-184375: Yeah, whatever.
(D-184375 stops in the doorway of SCP-XXXX.)
Dr.G: Please enter the room, D-184375.
D-184375: You think I’m stupid? Think I forgot [DATA EXPUNGED]
Dr.J: Enter the room, D-184375. If you refuse to cooperate, we are authorized to use force.
14:45—(Dr.J threatens D-184375 with [REDACTED] . D-184375 attacks Dr.J. [DATA EXPUNED], and D-184375 backs into SCP-XXXX. Dr.J exits and Dr.G shuts the door to SCP-XXXX. D-184375 is sealed inside.)
14:48—D-184375 is able to be heard from within SCP-XXXX. Movement and speaking can be observed.
15:01—D-184375 can be heard yelling and begins to bang on the door of SCP-XXXX.
15:11—There is no sign of D-184375’s action from within SCP-XXXX.
15:20—The lock to SCP-XXXX releases. Inside is a single, reddish-brown capsule marked with “1500”. It will henceforth be referred to as SCP-XXXX-131
15:40—SCP-XXXX-131 is placed in 1500 mL of water.
15:42—SCP-XXXX-131 begins to expand.
15:46—SCP-XXXX-131 is fully restored. It is a mass of human muscle, bone, blood, skin, organs, and unidentified cloth weighing approximately 90 kg. Upon analysis, the genetic material from a tissue sample matches that of D-184375. The cloth matches the material used in D-Class uniforms. All vitals ceased.
--End Log-—
Closing: SCP-XXXX-131 was concluded to be the remains of D-184375. Complex living organisms cannot survive the processes of SCP-XXXX due to a possible limitation in the complexity of structures it can reconstruct, or [DATA EXPUNGED]. Further research will be conducted.
**SCP-XXXX “Infernal Alligator”
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Class: Euclid**
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a large fireproof cell equipped with a separate sprinkler system, and a system that will flood the habitat in more severe cases. The cell must be outfitted to meet the necessities in a crocodilian animal’s habitat. All personnel interacting with SCP-XXXX must be equipped with fireproof suits with breathable air equipped in case of an outburst. SCP-XXXX requires three meals a day and drinking water, portions of which must be appropriate for a crocodilian of its size. SCP-XXXX’s habitat must be cleaned of shed Phosphorus and waste once a day. Approach and handle SCP-XXXX cautiously. Make your presence known through soft, audible sounds. Do not startle it. Avoid sudden movements, loud noises, or any other behavior it could possibly identify as threatening. All physical interaction with SCP-XXXX should be slow and gentle. Be sure it is aware of what you might plan to do and that it is content with this. If SCP-XXXX shows any signs of agitation, back away slowly and exit the habitat immediately. SCP-XXXX is to be socialized with at least three times a week, or it will become more aggressive towards anyone in the habitat.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a large crocodilian weighing about 329 kg, and measuring 240 cm nose to tail, displaying generally timid behavior. It is covered in a layer of Phosphorus about 2-5cm thick. It seems to secrete this Phosphorus from its skin in layers, much like how a mollusk grows its shell. Once a week, it sheds its current layer of Phosphorus skin and begins growing a new one. It regularly sheds in smaller amounts, losing the top layer every hour. The color of Phosphorus it produces varies depending on SCP-XXXX’s mood. When normally active, it will produce red Phosphorus. Red Phosphorus is flammable, but otherwise not dangerous. If it is agitated, it will ignite the red Phosphorus. When at rest or relaxed, it produces black Phosphorus, which is not reactive, flammable, or toxic, and is perfectly safe. When angered or threatened, SCP-XXXX is very dangerous. It produces white Phosphorus at a highly accelerated rate. White Phosphorus is highly toxic, and bursts into flame upon air contact, burning at temperatures of about 2760ºC. White Phosphorus will be thrown into the air as highly toxic powder and may ignite at SCP-XXXX’s will, causing a cloud of fire to flare up. SCP-XXXX is documented to throw lit Phosphorus as an attack measure. Approach with caution.

Log of Interaction with SCP-XXXX on 4/22/████
Summary: Dr.B███, henceforth referred to as Dr.B, performs regular interaction with SCP-XXXX for its socialization.
---Begin Log---
9:22—Dr.B enters SCP-XXXX’s habitat. SCP-XXXX is awake, but calm. Dr.B approaches it slowly, making a hushing sound to announce her presence. SCP-XXXX seems aware of her.
9:23—Dr.B is within arm’s reach of SCP-XXXX. She squats down to be level with it. Her vocalizations are a bit louder and more clear to soothe SCP-XXXX.
9:24—Dr.B is able to touch SCP-XXXX on the top of its head. Gentle stroking seems to calm SCP-XXXX along with Dr.B’s soothing vocalizations.
9:31—Alarms go off. Possible containment breach. The noise startles SCP-XXXX, causing it to burst into flame. Dr.B jumps back, further agitating SCP-XXXX, which is now producing white phosphorus and bellowing at Dr.B. Dr.B rushes to the door and exits. SCP-XXXX throws itself against the door for the next several minutes.
9:36—The alarms are still blaring. The operators prepare to flood SCP-XXXX’s habitat.
9:37—The habitat begins to flood. SCP-XXXX tries to scale the walls to avoid water.
9:46—The tank is three-fourths filled with water. SCP-XXXX’s fire has been extinguished, and it is afloat on the top of the water, paddling to avoid sinking.
11:55—Alarm ceases. SCP-XXXX’s habitat is drained. SCP-XXXX returns to a calm state and sleeps.

Class: Keter**
Black mold blooms in ███████,█████████
caused after contact with SCP-XXXX
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be sealed within a three-tiered cell. The outermost tier, hereafter referred to as the observation tier, is to encircle the second tier. It is a rectangular room with a 20m x 18m floor and 5m tall. The observation tier is composed of 10cm of reinforced concrete walls plated with 3cm of steel on either side. On all sides are 7x3m viewing windows of 10cm-thick ballistic glass. SCP-XXXX is not to be allowed into the observation tier for any reason. Only personnel with special clearance are allowed use of the observation tier. The middle tier is a 12m x 10m room that encircles the inner tier. It is structurally similar to the observation tier, except that each window is equipped with a remotely-operated blackout shield on the outside. The middle tier has a 10 cm thick steel door leading to the observation tier. It is operated with a magnetic lock on either side, three combination locks, a powerful deadlock, and a vacuum seal. All locks must be active at all times and released in a certain order. The lock combinations and order of release must be changed at least once a week. The middle tier environment must have 0% humidity and a low Oxygen content, hence the vacuum seal. The inner tier is a 5x5m room structurally similar to the other two, except windowless. It has a door similar to the one separating the middle and observation tiers, but it must face the opposite direction from the other door. Additionally, this door must not be operable by any means from within the inner tier. The inner tier’s environment is similar to the middle tier, but the internal temperature of the inner tier must be at least 0ºC, and will be lowered if need be.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a large mass of a black, mold-like organism with a crudely-made mask that acts as its face. It displays sentience and high intelligence, making it capable of communication. The height and mass of SCP-XXXX vary. Upon further investigation, its mask was shown to be composed from the bone matter of multiple organisms of varying species. SCP-XXXX is extremely hostile, and will attack anything, living or nonliving, within its reach. It will stop attacking a nonliving, inorganic object after a while, but will absorb organic matter with no other effects. If it succeeds in attacking a living organism, it will consume the organism by engulfing it in mold, then pulling it into its body and breaking it down, similar to the process of Phagocytosis in cells. After absorbing this organism, SCP-XXXX gains its knowledge and memory, and is able to replicate its form almost perfectly. This makes SCP-XXXX nearly indistinguishable from the original victim. It is able to mimic the form of things it sees, but this visual copy lacks detail and the knowledge that SCP-XXXX gains from consumption. After consumption of organic matter, living or nonliving, the mold grows in mass. SCP-XXXX displays high mobility in its normal form by spreading itself out along a surface and doing a rapid crawling motion. It can also spread its body mass out along any surface to maximize its surface area, and has also displayed the ability to remotely control detached parts of itself, though it seems to greatly exert SCP-XXXX. Black mold often grows in places that SCP-XXXX comes in contact with. Said contact seems to be the cause of these blooms. These mold blooms have proven to be normal black mold, and are not extensions of SCP-XXXX. Its body behaves similarly to species of mold, gaining mass when exposed to humid, oxygen-rich environments of at least 21ºC

Interview log 6/29/████
Interviewer: Researcher Holt
Interviewee: SCP-XXXX (Mimicking D-395543)
Summary: Communication with SCP-XXXX. It had consumed the previously terminated D-395543 prior to interview, and displays knowledge of D-395543 that it would otherwise not know.
---Begin Log--
(Note: SCP-XXXX has been uncooperative with Researcher Holt’s request for communication for at least thirty minutes. It will not leave the inner tier, even after being allowed to do so.)
Holt: SCP-XXXX, please respond. You may leave the first cell.
(D-395543 exits the inner tier. As D-395543 had been terminated, this is SCP-XXXX mimicking his body. All of SCP-XXXX’s interaction is done taking the form of D-395543. Holt is aware of this.)
SCP-XXXX: Please, please let me out of here. This thing—it’s [DATA EXPUNGED]. Help me, oh my God, please, help me.
Holt: Be patient, D-395543. It’s a difficult process. We’ll have you out of there soon.
SCP-XXXX: Get me out. I just want to go home.
(Holt picks up the phone near him. He places a call to the operation booth. They are aware of the situation.)
Holt: Yes, this is Holt. D-395543 is to be released to his home. D-395543, you have very little on record. Do you know your address? Your name?
SCP-XXXX: My address… [REDACTED], [REDACTED], [REDACTED]. My name is ██████████████████, born ███████████ ██, ████████.
Holt: Thank you.
(Holt hangs up the phone.)
SCP-XXXX: Can you let me out now? Please, please let me out.
Holt: I cannot.
(SCP-XXXX begins to cry.)
Holt: You can give up the act, SCP-XXXX. I know it’s been you since the beginning.
(SCP-XXXX becomes infuriated. It throws itself at the glass continually, screaming unintelligibly. Holt leaves the room. SCP-XXXX returns to its original form, tries to open the second door, and returns to the inner tier after the middle tier temperature is lowered to -14 Celsius.)

**SCP-XXXX “Devouring Moth”
Item #.:SCP-XXXX
Class:Euclid**
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a soundproofed 5x5x5 meter enclosure with a sealed door. Anyone interacting with SCP-XXXX is to be provided with soundproof earmuffs and an isolation suit made with ████████████ to prevent a breach.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a pale, unidentified species of Lepidoptera. Its size varies from slightly larger than the average for Lepidoptera to that of a medium-to-large sized bird, such as a crow or owl. Its mouthparts, unlike most Lepidoptera, are both chewing mouthparts like those of a grasshopper, displaying Labrum, Labium, Mandibles, and Maxillae, as well as a proboscis common to Lepidoptera. It is able to emit a sound from its mouthparts, which is extremely unpleasant to all sentient organisms within earshot. The frequency of these sounds is physically traumatic to the auditory organs, especially the tympanic membrane (eardrum) and associated structures, and still affects deaf organisms or those unable to hear the sound as long as it can reach their ears. It uses this sound to stun organisms larger than itself. Once stunned, it flies into the mouth, eyes, or other orifices of the organism. It will use its mouthparts to bore its way into the lungs of an organism, and, once inside, continues the sound. When inside of an organism, this creates extreme internal hemorrhaging and rapid expansion of the lungs. The sound will emit from the mouth of the victim. SCP-XXXX feeds on the blood from the resulting hemorrhaging with its proboscis. The expansion of the lungs often causes them to burst out of the back of the victim and subsequently explode. If not already dead, the victim will likely die shortly after. SCP-XXXX exits the lungs in its emergence. It often changes size, either minimally or drastically. The purpose of this is likely feeding, although it is hypothesized that it is a method of reproduction, hence the change in size SCP-XXXX exhibits.

Containment Breach Log4/22/██████
Summary: Minor containment breach of SCP-XXXX after not having fed in about twelve weeks for experimentation. Researcher ████████ deceased. SCP-XXXX recontained.
--Begin Log-—-
9:27-Researcher A attempts to enter SCP-XXXX’s enclosure. At this time, SCP-XXXX is abnormally large, about 1m in length.
9:28-After carefully opening the door, SCP-XXXX flies at Researcher A, knocking him over and pushing the door open. SCP-XXXX begins to emit sound.
9:29-SCP-XXXX attacks Researcher A. It attempts to chew through his isolation suit. Researcher A, unaffected by its sound, pushes SCP-XXXX off of him after a short struggle.
9:31-Alarms are set off. SCP-XXXX flies away from Researcher A, attacking the nearby Researcher ████████, who, not wearing soundproof earmuffs, is stunned by SCP-XXXX’s sounds. SCP-XXXX forces itself into the mouth of Researcher ████████. It struggles due to its size, but bores into the throat to the lungs.
9:33-Researcher ████████’s eyes, ears, and mouth begin to bleed profusely. All personnel in the room have put on soundproof earmuffs. Mobile Task Force [REDACTED] has been contacted.
9:35-Researcher ████████ emits SCP-XXXX’s sounds. Personnel take shelter in the operation booth.
9:36-Researcher ████████’s back begins to expand outward.
9:37-Researcher ████████’s back bursts, exposing the lungs. Mobile Task Force [REDACTED] arrives on scene. Researcher ███████, still alive, is terminated.
9:38-Researcher ████████’s lungs explode. SCP-XXXX emerges, slightly smaller than before. Mobile Task Force [REDACTED] begins operation to subdue and recontain SCP-XXXX.
[DATA EXPUNGED]
10:07-SCP-XXXX is recontained. Mobile Task Force [REDACTED] locks down the room to begin post-breach preventive measures.
[DATA EXPUNGED]
11:55-Containment breach and subsequent post-breach preventive measures complete. Alarm is silenced, and clearance to resume activities is given.
-END LOG-
Conclusion: SCP-XXXX may require regular feeding to lower aggression. Further research required.
