Idea 1 - the microscopic threat

ingenious microorganisms.
They exist within some sort of box.
If they get out they will convert organic matter into themselves, inevitably building up some sort of army.

containment is inside strong metal box which will be swapped once per day and the box will be submerged and dissovled in acid.

Idea 2 - the dark closet

there is a closet with a weird and dark entity. This entity is highly hostile to any form of Life. it will kill anything that is in darkness. However it can be stopped by light. Though if the closet is in constant light the entity can get used to the light and break out into a murder Spree.

To contain it there must Always be a constant lightsource outside the closet that is connected to a generator that is not a part of the site's Electric system. This is because of the SCP's constant errosion on Electric generators that is a part of light sources around it. This also means that the generator must be swapped every once in a while.

SCP charactersistics:

Description:
The entity is some sort of shadow-like object with a White mask. It reflects no visible light in any frequency except the mask that reflect light like a normal object. Its size varies often seemingly at will and the same goes for the mask that Changes with its body. However it has a minimum volume and cannot be smaller than that specific volume. It can, however stretch and thin out to fit in irregular spaces with that specific minimum volume. Example: if volume is let's say 1 dm³ (1 liter) it can fit in a tube that is 100m long with a radius of 0,178 cm

Abilities:

The entity can over time erode and destroy electrical generators that is connected to a lightsource nearby (fun fact I can put in: this was the cause of the 2003, 1983 & 1977 blackouts in North america)

Once out of its closet it can teleport between places that are in darkness within a specific radius and can move in darkness at incredible speeds. It will attempt to kill any form of Life that is not Active during the night. Humans may be Active in the night but they are not suited for it and will therefore be targeted. Insects are not targeted, the entity seemingly feeds of the Life force of the targets and insects seem to be to Little of value.

Once out of containment and sufficiently fed it can interact more and more with its surrounding. Since it is first limited to dark areas and are stopped by Bright lights. Note that only very Bright lights stop it, the entity can operate in a dimly lit room. It can and will destroy lights when sufficiently fed so that it can target and acquire more energy / lives.

The energy the entity consumes seem to evaporate from it like water in the sun and if it has too Little energy left it will return to its closet and will be inactive for a period of time.
